Crime here is pretty sketchy, good amount of drug use nearby, bikes and ground floor patio items are always stolen or vandalized. Someone briefly tried to break into my friend's ground floor unit until they realized someone was there. all of this on top of the smell of the area, once beat season rolls around 4 months of the year that place smells like a sewage plant (seriously not a joke). Its sad to say but in all honesty this was the worst place I ever rented from and this includes an apartment that burned down 3 weeks after moving in destroying all our stuff. I understand options are limited around that area but know what you're getting into before coming here.

After a few weeks the dishwasher itself becomes really dirty. The maintenance guy shows up about a day after you make a call which is nice, although be prepared for him to unlock your door and come in after he knocks and asks if anyone is there, and waits 3 seconds. I'm not even sure if he announces his presence until he opens the door and pokes his head in. The one good thing is that the office people are friendly.
