All I can Afford
October 8, 2015The best thing about my apartment is the cost as most of the utilities are included. The bad part is the buildings need updating and repairs. The floors crack, WALLS ARE THIN SO NOISE IS AN ISSUE. the woodwork and kitchen cabinets need replacing as they have been painted too many times from the decades they were built . screens are old, no storm doors.A lot of tens state that there builds are slanted or the rugs and appliances need to be replaced. I took down a light fixture to be replaced and ...then couldn't get new one up and was told I would have to wait about 6 mo for them to get around to it so I LIVE WITH NO CEILING LIGHT IN THE MAIN DINING AND LIVING ROOM OF THE APARTMENT. They are built on one side of building or the other so lighting is bad. the dumpsters are messy with trash as some people just don't care. At one time I heard that thhese aprtments were well maintained and I hope that will happen again. But because it is affordable and since my future living finances are wuestionable it pays to stay there for now.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
