management is awful
September 28, 2019management refuses to work at all with applicants on small credit matters that are already in the process of being paid off. They wanted us to pay an additional $40 fee for a SECOND credit check even after being provided with proof from the company in question that the debt was being paid off and was in good standing. They were also quite rude and lied to me about it being “illegal” for me to see my own credit report they pulled citing the fair credit reporting act. I am a legal secretary in a ...law office. I wasn’t familiar with the act or what it really meant so I asked my boss about it. As it turns out, I am legally entitled to see any and all credit reports pulled on me as the act is to protect me, the consumer, not protecting the creditor as the office manger informed me.
