HOME sweet home
October 26, 2017 - Review from Apartments.comMy first, second and third apartment to call home in San Diego were here at Greystone. It is conveniently located in the heart of the Gaslamp district near coffee, dining, shopping, gym, groceries, entertainment and everything you need is within a block or two! I learned the former owner grew up on a street next to mine in Duluth MN and he shared the same dream I had of 72 degree days all year round. The apartments here are sturdy, they have refreshing zephyrs blowing through the security ...screen doors and I rarely used the heater and NEVER needed A/C. (Athough with the recent heatwaves, I do know people who have used window A/C units) Parking is in a safe underground lot with one space per unit. If you like the feeling of community, this is the place to live. Three of my best friends I have met since moving to CA in 2004 have been people from this two building complex. I hope to move back to San Diego from NorCal soon and to call Greystone HOME for good until it is time to buy a house! * 4/5 stars is only because it is not super fancy compared to brand new buildings going up daily in the area. I don't need posh to feel comfortable. I make my home where I am comfortable and happy.Read More
