Once you want to move out, they become aggressive and unhelpful. Don’t trust them, and don’t take their word, because they will never be honest. Their initial statements contradicted what my replacement tenants were later told. I did sublease my apartment for others, and the manager said the renewal lease raise would be something like 4-5%, but ...
when the new tenants tried to get it done, they were told to renew for more than 10% of the last rate. This drastic difference was never explained, adding to the frustration and feeling of being misled.
