Hawk's Nest Apartments are spacious and well cared for. Though the interior is a bit dated, all appliances are functional and the apartment was extremely clean when we moved in. It is a great place for a grad student to live--quiet and a bit outside Athens.

Hawks Nest is a beautiful place to stay in Athens onto itself. Perfect for graduate students looking for a quiet place to live, study, and fall in love with. Apartments are spacious, pretty well priced, and feel like a getaway from Athens proper. The outdoor spaces are beautiful and you can hear the frogs sing at night.

I have lived in my place for a year now and am glad I made this choice. For less than the cost of a dorm, I have plenty of space of my own to live. It is close to school and everything else I need. The grounds are well kept and the landlord and staff are easy to reach when needed. Looking forward to another year here.

My experience has been very good so far. The property is well-maintained, clean, and situated in an excellent location that's both scenic and secluded. The landlord is professional, easily accessible, and responds promptly to inquiries. When some minor maintenance issues arose, they were addressed immediately. I am happy to have found this place.

I have lived here for 6 years now and have had no issues. Great location and very quiet. Have had no issues with the neighbors or landlord. If something needs fixed or there is an issue it is handled very quickly. Landlord is good at communicating with tenants about things. I have enjoyed living here the last few years!

This rental company is extremely rude and unprofessional to prospective renters, the man who manages this website does not give accurate information nor does he talk to you professionally. He is very rude and not only that, but requires a full months rent sent by mail with the application and only said by text message it is returned if the application is not approved. He does not give any detail and does not help you with any questions you have about renting the place. Do not even bother!

Where to begin... We are not rude...to anyone. We have been in business for over 20 years in this part of the country quite successfully. Why would i not provide accurate information to you? I do not require any funds whatsoever with application, nor is there an application fee. This has been strict company policy since day one, and continues to be; and is as well in accordance with state law. All which begs the question did this person in their search for an apartment review the wrong ad? I only said a refund is issued if application is denied by text? Ok, What more can I do? That is in fact accurate. State law requires deposit monies be returned if no lease is made and or application is denied. How is that not providing accurate and professional assistance? I'm in business. That means if i'm to be successful I need to provide accurate info and be helpful. After all, I do want and need to fill my rental units. This review is from a party of three individuals that were denied a lease ...

This owner was so rude and mean when speaking to me. He basically called me a liar and all I was doing was trying to help my son find an apartment…it was a bit unnerving to say the least.

Based on this I informed them that we would not be able to offer them a lease, and bid them good day. If that is rude, then so be it.
