Terrible
July 7, 2025Roach problem for YEARS, mold that they say is not mold and to wipe away with bleach. Maintenance marks work orders as complete without even working them. Old cabinets that literally dry rot off.Property Manager Responded

Disappointing
January 27, 2021This place is an all around drag and a poor excuse of an apartment complex. Management is a joke, they will never give you a straight answer and if you call to complain about anything or even just ask a question they will be rude and disrespectful. There always seems to be an issue with water and no exact reason as to why. The maintenance men can barley tie their own shoes much less fix anything wrong in your apartment, can't trust them to look at anything without myself or wife being there to ...watch them only make thing worse. If you value good communication and like feeling safe and proud to be a part of a community, then this is definitely not the place for you. If you are new to San Antonio steer clear of Hilltop Oaks.Property Manager Responded

January 21, 2021Iam currently in the transition part of trying to move to these apts. I can say so far the staff has replied to me in a timely manner, everyone i spoke with was helpful and not rude, like the 3 apts i talked to before about leasing, Iam looking forward to this community. Horrible
November 9, 2020Horrible communication, their is a constant problem with the water it's always disconnected without notification, our hot water hasnt been working going to 6 days now and the office and maintenance dont know anything. And they send out papers saying they're gonna start charging everyone for things unnecessary, while they cant even supply us hot water.Property Manager Responded

October 14, 2018I move out since February 2018 they call me months later they are going to send my deposit back still waiting l stop by the Oficce 4 times they ask me for my new adress and apartment number l give it to them 2 more times via phone we are in the middle of October they call me and ask for my apartment number again THIS IS A PLACE YOU CAN'T TRUST. l always paid my rent on time and leave it nice and cleanProperty Manager Responded

The best place I've lived
September 6, 2015I've lived at Hilltop Oaks Apts in San Antonio for almost a year and have never had any problems at all. If I put for a maintenance request they show up either the same day or the next and the job is done right the first time so I don't need to call them back. The entire office staff is so friendly. They really try to get to know their residents on a first name basis and vice versa. Pest control is amazing to where I've never seen any types of bugs at all.Review from Apartments.com
This apartment community is very good for low and avarage income famillies
January 21, 2013i came to this apartment (hill top of oaks) since 7 monthes and it is very good. They are paying bills for water, trash,.. and in good prices for rent. the managment is very good staff and trying to solve the problem in services. there are big differents right now more than before 7 monthes, while the maintenace and managment are respecting the people and working every day and clean every day. i had a big problem with my apartment for long time because it needs external contractor to solve it and ...at the end they fixed it.
