One of the best apartments in the area
October 23, 2025I’ve been living at Halstead Merrimack for a couple of months now, and it’s been great! Pet-friendly, everything is updated and newer—feels more like living in a luxury apartment building. They even have a pet wash! Everything you need is just across the street and it’s local to everything. Anytime I’ve needed maintenance, they’ve responded promptly. I also love the electronic locks—no need to deal with keys! Great apartment community and location
October 11, 2025Overall, I’ve had a positive experience living at Halstead Merrimack. The location is central and convenient, the apartment itself is nice, and the neighbors are friendly—some have even become close friends, which makes it bittersweet to be moving soon as I prepare to buy a home. The staff and management have been very friendly and responsive. Maintenance is quick to address issues, which I appreciate, though I’ve been surprised by how often I’ve had to call them during my short time here—issues ...like a broken dryer, fridge, and a clogged shower drain. One concern has been the noticeable cracks in the walls, which could suggest foundational problems, especially considering this is a relatively new building. Additionally, there was a weekend where a summer thunderstorm knocked out the elevator and fire alarm system, but again, management handled the situation efficiently. Parking has been easy, and overall, I’m happy with my decision to move here for work. While I’m excited about my next chapter, I’ll definitely miss the community I’ve found here.Property Manager Responded

Beautiful, comfortable space!
October 11, 2025Just moved in a week ago with our 2 dogs and already feeling at home. We are renting a 2 bedroom unit and it has plenty of space. I absolutely love the in unit washer and dryer, the dishwasher and the beautiful marble kitchen island! Derek was beyond helpful getting us set up to move here swiftly and answering my many questions. June 26, 2025I have been living at Halstead Apartments for almost 2 years and it has been an exceptional experience from day one. The community is beautifully maintained, peaceful, and feels like home. What truly sets Halstead apart, though, is the incredible team in the leasing office. Considering the rental costs, the value for money is questionable
April 10, 2024I enjoy my residence at Halstead Merrimack; however, I have consistently observed that the property management does not prioritize the well-being of tenants. The frequent additional charges can be burdensome, especially with extra fees for amenities like the gym and other facilities. Electricity bills are very high. Additionally, the $150 monthly fee for a garage space seems excessive, and considering the rental costs, the value for money is questionable. AVOID THIS PLACE
January 8, 2024I've lived here for over 2 years now and here are my thoughts. I would STRONGLY discourage anyone from moving here. I sure wish I didn't. As other reviews have stated, the maintenance team is amazing. They're friendly and they do a great job sorting out whatever you need. Management is ABYSMAL however.. I cannot state this strongly enough - management does not care about you as a tenant or a person. Few examples, first of which is when management shut my power off to my apartment. Got a letter in ...the mail saying my final bill (which was on autopay) was super late and my power was going to be shut off. I called, and the electric company stated that someone had called and said I moved out and to shut the power off to my apartment.. I asked how this was possible and the person looked up the ticket and sure enough.. the exact name of one of the property managers popped right up. I went to the office to discuss and all of the property managers (yes, including the head one) DENIED it and wouldn't do anything to make it right - simply stuck me with an over $400 electric bill, late fees and all. Management here is also awful during the winter. We had a big snowstorm, and management changed the policy on moving cars around so that plows could clear the parking lot. So they sent out a VERY vague email about where to put cars. So you may be thinking, okay so they probably sent a property map with highlighted sections and appropriate times to move cars, etc... NOPE. White boxes with numbers in them, not organized or laid out according to the actual property and then vague descriptions of what those boxes represented. So I moved my car within the time window given to a spot I've parked in for YEARS with no issue so that the plows could do their thing and clear out the parking lot in front of my building. I get out of my WFH meeting to find my car, which was completely out of the way, towed. So management towed my car while I was home, from a spot I've parked in for years, with not so much as a quick phone call to ask if I was around to move it. Completely ruined my day, cost me over $250, and no remorse or understanding from clubhouse staff. Also, if you thought maybe I was the isolated incident... they towed EVERY car in the parking lot. Had to be two dozen cars if I were to guess and those are just the ones I know of. Would you want to live at a place that will tow your own car away from your own residence without the courtesy of a phone call? I sure wish I didn't.Property Manager Responded
