April 11, 2025I would not recommend moving here at all. I currently live here and I am anxious to leave. The bug/roach problem is ridiculous. If they spray it does not help. I have lived here for a few years and in that time there has been a shooting. The pool is often overrun with nonresidents who cause many issues. Last year the main pool was unusable the entire summer due to broken filter. I could go on and on.Property Manager Responded

Potential
March 20, 2023I viewed these apartments and the office staff was LESS than friendly. The woman that gave me a tour was no help at all and uninviting. She very short answers to any of my questions and offered no details, brochures, nothing!! I did like the unit I saw, but the attitude of that staff member alone did not sell me nor convince me to live there.Property Manager Responded

This place doesn’t even come close to 5 stars
November 29, 2020I’ve been here for almost 2 years now and it’s beyond awful. I was showed a different apt before I moved in but apparently the people weren’t out of the apt yet(don’t they get a deadline to move out?) so they just gave us a unit that was available since we drove cross country and were already in GA. The apt looked nice and after 2 months there was cracks in the wall, chipped paint, MOLD, old stained cabinets and more. They literally didn’t even try to get the place ready before we moved in. We ...unfortunately decided to renew a lease in another unit (big mistake) and they had a month to fix what was broken in the bathroom. Up until the day we got our keys the bathroom was still broken. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve raised hell. Since 2020 there was a shooting by the call box going into the apt, sheriff and police cars are racing in every day, fire/paramedics are here weekly and kids are pulling the fire alarm at 2am. Multiple times. You would think you’re living in an unsafe part of the city. The trash is always overflowing or the compactor is broken. The people that have moved in are disrespectful, drive fast and also bring a different crowd in since everyone sells in the back complex that other residents refuse to walk back there or walk their dogs. Sadly the complex has done nothing about that. You’ll always find trash, beer cans and old fast food bags in parking spots if you walk around the complex or someone may try to pick you up while walking. I’ve never wanted to get out more than I have. Don’t count on hearing from the office about things that are happening within the complex like a water outage, in which they’ve been working on for 3 days and not a single email went out until today. Don’t waste your money or time. If only these reviews would allow you to attach pictures, there’s no untrue issues in this review.Property Manager Responded

Horrible process
October 4, 2020Saw an open listing, called right away, was told earliest tour was next week. Applied right away, was told I needed to verify info for application and bring in ID in person when I was going on tour. Came in next week for the tour with my ID and the apartment had been taken by someone else. Other applicant didn’t need to verify info but I did. They told me it happens “at times” and they can’t predict who it will happen to. Frustrating because when I called right away after seeing the listing, they ...said it would be available to tour by the time I come in, but they didn’t even have anything for me to look at. Heads up to everyone applying. The process sucks and the staff are nice people, but really didn’t care or see anything wrong with what I went through. Not trying to be a Karen. Don't fall for the pictures.
August 4, 2020I moved in at the end of May. I read reviews of almost all apartments within my budget and the only bad reviews retreat at riverside had was about the front office staff. It has been two months since I have been living here and I am ready to leave already. The gate never works, people come flying through the complex, and the office is more worried about animals than they are the drug problem. It's not uncommon to see cop cars, firetrucks, or paramedics coming in and out. The office claims that ...they work here, but there is only one police officer and he has a Suwannee car, so who knows whats really happening. Within two weeks of me being here, my fire alarm was pulled by kids, someone shot a gun at the garbage compactor, the package room was broken into, and the arm of the gate was ran over two times and management did nothing except send an email. There are no security cameras anywhere in the complex. The apartments are literally just being bandaged up and painted over and claimed to be "remodeled." May 1, 2018do not let this place fool you by the pictures! it is infested with stray cats all over the community. Trash is always overflowing as soon as you come in the gates.. looks horrible. office staff very phony beware they are nice until you sign on the dotted line. Maintenence crew is a joke. This complex looks old and run down and has a lot of mold. do yourself a favor and don't move here you will be highly disappointed!!!Property Manager Responded
