I drove into the complex after seeing a sign on the roadside "now leasing". i had no appointment. i met a very nice lady I think her name is Lauren who asked me give her a few minutes as she was talking with someone else.
she was very attentive, listened to my concerns, she was very caring. I was able to view a one bedroom apartment. Even though it was not ready, I had an idea of how a one bedroom looked like. Before I left, we had a nice long chat. She was very friendly and easy to talk to.

In 2019, I was searching for an apartment. Driving around the Hamden area, Hamden Ridge complex caught my attention. The complex was clean and quiet. I made an appointment with Ms Lauren, and that's when the magic began! We had a nice conversation about the property and I appreciated that she wasn't an over powering salesperson. She was personable and she listened understood what I was looking for.

This is the best planned apartment I have ever lived in. I have more storage space and closets than I had in my home. The people who work here are friendly and respond to my needs immediately. They are always cleaning and painting to keep the complex in a-one condition.
When I moved in, the apartment was immaculate. I sit on my balcony and it is so peaceful and quiet. I am on the top floor and I don't hear anyone.

Plus the apt is nice the master bedroom is big, large closet and storage rooms.
Minus the apt squeak so much when someone walking, up or downstairs, I am upstairs and can hear everything downstairs, opening and closing of the closet, shower running ,walking etc.When the main door to my building closed the building shake. The closet constantly comes off.

Kitchen cabinets are from 1970's!
Peeling surfaces, ugh.
No garbage disposal, no dishwasher, oven doesn't self clean.
Very loud a/c heating system, you have to turn the tv volume way up to hear over the blower.
Hardwood flooring looks nice, but amplifies every noise-you hear all the surrounding units intimate details.
Office staff/managers are pure and simple salespeople. Will tell you anything to get a lease, then you are up the creek.

Made an appointment to look into moving into Hamden Ridge. I showed up for my appointment with KATHY and the leasing office seemed empty. Turns out, the office is in the 2 bedroom model, and the Kathy was using the bathroom. She came out of the bathroom to find us and she seemed very unpleased that we were there. She was unaware of our appointment and was very annoyed. She huffed at us that she had just showed someone else around the property as if telling us she did not want to be bothered. She ...
continued to throw the form to fill out at us, while continuing to roll her eyes and huff at us with an attitude. We seemed to be in her way, so she referred to us as "you people" and told us to sit-- still rolling her eyes. Needless to say, we walked straight out and did not even waste our time or considered to spend our money in a business with employees like that.
