Where do you me to begin. I made mistake from long distance, trusting the internet pictures. The Rental Agent (Margie) is just the tip of the spear of what is wrong with Not a Havn at Lake Deer. She treated me and my 805 credit score like crap from day 1 until the day I broke my lease. The buildings are not safe, run down and essentially a fire hazard. The maintenance team is below standard as well. When locked out I was told, that for his safety - I should call a locksmith!! Then upon ...
breaking into my apartment, the fire department showed up to save 7 families from a burning apartment building. So when I broke my lease instead of apologizing for a horrible experience, they charged me more than agreed upon in the lease. Please take my advice, watch out for Margie and find another location to rent.

The positive aspect of living here is NO BUGS, the outside noise level is decent for a place this size, maintenance is quick to fix things, office staff are nice, the rent is reasonable. The negative aspect are the thin walls and ceilings.

Been a resident since 2017.No major Problems very quiet great location close enough to major attractions without being in the bulk of tourism congestion staff is great ! Maintenance is quick to respond and are very friendly and courteous. If there was one thing I could change would be the rent increases but I'm sure I am not the only one who has that request.

It’s a place to live with some nice amenities. The apartment itself is somewhere to live. It has so many little to bigger issues right off of the bat. The shower doesn’t drain, the toilet has gotten clogged, and it’s only the second day. The shower faucet isn’t caulked in correctly. They put vinyl WOOD flooring in the bathroom, that’s insane. That’s just a mold problem waiting to happen. Each door knob has a ding. I’ve had to document every little issue so I’m not charged at the end for stuff ...
that should have been handled beforehand. They make you go through all these background checks which is awesome, I did appreciate that.
