Overall Good Place to Live
November 6, 2021Lived there for nearly two years. Pros: - The leasing office and maintenance staff were always friendly and helpful. - Good place for light sleepers (however I was on the top floor). From my experience noise levels are pretty low and I rarely ever heard my neighbors. - Biggest perk to me was how convenient the location is. Nice parks and neighborhoods to walk around in. Also, get to walk right into the shopping center and it's a two minute walk to the grocery store, which is tough to beat. - ...Garage parking is really nice to have for inclement weather and something not offered by a lot of places in the area. Cons: - Just very expensive for Greensboro. You’ll be paying at least Charlotte level prices. - Pool feels small for an apartment complex this size and kind of in an awkward place since you lose direct sun by late afternoon. - They don’t offer any type of recycling services (that I knew about at least). - Maybe just the placement of my unit but they have spotlights on the outside of the building that would shine right into my bedroom windows at night. - Lost power (even if it was only briefly) during almost every bad storm. - People use the fitness center like it’s their own personal gym and frequently don’t clean up after themselves. Overall, it’s not perfect but it was easily the best apartment I have lived in and I definitely miss it!Property Manager Responded

Outstanding property

Make This Place Your Home
July 9, 2021I lived at Hawthorne at Friendly for a year and a half, and it was the absolute best place to call home. First of all, this property is pure perfection, from the staff to the units. Hannah and Vanessa (Office Staff) took care of anything I needed, and they were always stopping to check in with me and chat with me when they saw me out and about - they truly care. The entire maintenance staff is incredible too; if you have a problem, they take care of it as quickly as they can, and you’re always ...well informed about the process. As for my unit, the finishings were upscale and gorgeous. The appliances were stainless steel and brand new. Also, I was so happy that each unit comes with a washer and dryer, so you don’t have to buy your own. The amenities are yet another thing to rave about. On the first floor, there is an expansive gym with a yoga studio. There’s plenty of space to spread out when you do your workouts, and they have lots of weight machines and cardio machines for you to try. Also on the main floor is an awesome clubhouse, complete with a coffee machine and a wine machine! The Friendly staff is great about making use of this space and planning community events so you can get to know your neighbors. The top floor of the building has a Sky Lounge where you can host events or just look at the view of downtown Greensboro from the balcony. Another great thing about Hawthorne at Friendly was the location. I was able to walk to Friendly Center easily for coffee, dinner, groceries, and shopping - the location is extremely convenient. The nearby neighborhoods and parks are another bonus, especially if you like taking walks! If you’re looking for a wonderful apartment and a wonderful community in the beautiful city of Greensboro, look no further - Hawthorne at Friendly is the place to be.Property Manager Responded
