I lived at Hawthorne at Friendly for a year and a half, and it was the absolute best place to call home. First of all, this property is pure perfection, from the staff to the units. Hannah and Vanessa (Office Staff) took care of anything I needed, and they were always stopping to check in with me and chat with me when they saw me out and about - they truly care. The entire maintenance staff is incredible too; if you have a problem, they take care of it as quickly as they can, and you’re always
...well informed about the process. As for my unit, the finishings were upscale and gorgeous. The appliances were stainless steel and brand new. Also, I was so happy that each unit comes with a washer and dryer, so you don’t have to buy your own.
The amenities are yet another thing to rave about. On the first floor, there is an expansive gym with a yoga studio. There’s plenty of space to spread out when you do your workouts, and they have lots of weight machines and cardio machines for you to try. Also on the main floor is an awesome clubhouse, complete with a coffee machine and a wine machine! The Friendly staff is great about making use of this space and planning community events so you can get to know your neighbors. The top floor of the building has a Sky Lounge where you can host events or just look at the view of downtown Greensboro from the balcony.
Another great thing about Hawthorne at Friendly was the location. I was able to walk to Friendly Center easily for coffee, dinner, groceries, and shopping - the location is extremely convenient. The nearby neighborhoods and parks are another bonus, especially if you like taking walks!
If you’re looking for a wonderful apartment and a wonderful community in the beautiful city of Greensboro, look no further - Hawthorne at Friendly is the place to be.
