This place is the worst apartment I have ever lived in. They have so many rules you almost feel like your being babysat. Cant have "visitors" after 10pm unless they park in a designated area for visitors which is at the leasing office and the spots are ALWAYS full so having company is a no unless you want to pay a boot/ tow fee. Floors are so thin you can hear a piece of paper drop. These apartments are beautiful but not worth the headache dealing with rude staff and loud neighbors. My lease is ...

up soon and I will not be renewing. Not to mention the additional fees on top of the already expensive rent. Water, trash, mailbox, and so on. Add $150 to what they quote you for rent.

Me and my family moved into Hawthorne @ the Glen from Georgia about 4 months ago, the staff made the transition simple and pleasing, due to it being a quick move for my husband job. If any issue should arise the staff is on it, and get it resolved in a timely manner, me and my family really enjoy the amenities that are on site, as well our dog Ace, he enjoy's the doggie park. I have no complaints about Hawthorne @ the Glen..

It's a little overpriced, but not horrible

The community is alright as a whole. Maintenance is extremely nice and very prompt. The Luxor lockers for packages are great. Amenities on the premises are pretty nice. The value of the apartments seem to be very different pending on where you live in the complex. If you live in the front half, you have close access to amenities. These were the first buildings constructed, and they were constructed well. If you live in the 6600, 6700, or 6800 buildings, you get lower quality that was hastily ...

completed to fill more units. You'll also notice difference in the grounds pending on which side of the complex you are on. Near the clubhouse, garbages are plentiful. on the back side, there is only one garbage, and you have to go down to the terrace to get to it. Trash and recycling only has one location, which is in the front. The 6600 and 6700 buildings have an extra floor on them, however there are fewer parking spots near those buildings than in other areas. If you live in 6700 or 6800, be prepared to walk across the whole complex, and also be prepared for cars to.randomly be plopped along the curbs, making it hard to see other traffic. There have recently been other security issues, like car break-ins, so a long walk at night can be dangerous.

I would honestly at this point go lower stars if I could. We have just finished up our one year lease and am feeling so much have safer already. The first few months when we moved in in December 2019 were great. Once March and April hit, things started to go majorly downhill. smoke, cigarette smoke, constant loud noise and pranksters. If you’re a fan of any of those, then this complex is for you. Out of the office staff, Brittany and the custodial staff of Brandon and Gabriel are fabulous and try to do their very best. If you ever need to deal with Jennifer, good luck. She is one of the most rude people I’ve ever encountered. Issues never get resolved and all the responsibilities, including safety of the complex and yourself is put on you. They do nothing about community issues other then trivial things like trash service emails. I strongly advise you to do your research, ask your friends, check nextdoor.com, etc before signing any lease here.

Beautiful and Quiet

After a month in these new apartments I can tell you they are beautiful and very quiet. We have an upstairs neighbor but you would never know it. Sometimes when a complex claims to be luxury it just means they put some high-end finishes over bad construction, but that is not the case here. The finishes are nice, but the quality of construction is what sets Hawthorne at the Glen apart. The complex is beautiful (even in late fall and winter) and the interiors are very nice. decorating a snap and the rooms are bigger than the floor plans make them appear. We get a lot for our money. Energy costs are very low and the maintenance team is fantastic. Kudos to Brandon (maintenance) and Brittany (office) for taking time to make us feel welcome, answering our questions and quickly responding when needed.
