Love Hawthorne
February 27, 2025Hawthorne at the Ridge is hands down one of the best apartment communities in Madison, AL! From the moment I moved in, I felt right at home. The amenities are truly exceptional— a beautiful pool, a well-equipped fitness center, and inviting common spaces that make it easy to relax or socialize. The community is always clean and well-maintained, creating a welcoming and peaceful atmosphere. The management and maintenance teams are outstanding! They are friendly, professional, and always quick ...to respond to any requests, making sure residents have a top-notch living experience. Very disappointed
July 20, 2022Dont be fooled by the apartment tour they give you. It looks clean, well taken care of, and bug free, when in all actuality, they will give you an "upgraded" apartment without actually cleaning it. There are hairs stuck to the walls and baseboards that have been painted over, water damage that has been painted over, clogged sinks and tubs that they claim they fixed for you but its still not working. The trash valet will come and pick up anytime between 5pm-2am, which is really inconvenient and ...scares you if youre laying on the couch late at night! The pool was closed for the majority of the summer for renovations. Not sure what they fixed, because the pool is gross and the filter doesnt even work! The parking is absolutely horrendous as well. We have complained multiple times and nothing has been done. So good luck trying to find a place to park on the weekends! They also left a huge dumpster absolutely overflowing with trash for months in the front parking lot of the complex, blocking those parking spots and attracting animals, but they complained about residents leaving their valet trash cans out overnight. Doesnt make any sense. The management also never gives you a call back when they say they will, and conveniently "forgets" what youve told them or asked them. Lastly, they gave us 10 days to decide if we were going to renew or lease or not, which doesnt end for another almost 3 months. They raised the rent signifcantly on us and we were extremely disappointed. I would only suggest someone to live here short term, not long term. Everything is cheaply done, the landscaping is always a mess, the resident life is very questionable, and the management never has it together. Glad we are leaving.Property Manager Responded

The Place To Be
July 18, 2022The location of this place is...amazing to say the least. Close to lots of different main roads. Multiple grocery options within a 5-10 minute drive as well as gas stations. The amenities are great. We've had nothing but great teamwork with the maintenance staff. One thing we love about this complex is they offer many fun get-together activities for residents to get to know each other. March 28, 2022I do not recommend this apartment complex for anyone. I loved it at first but first sign was them pushing the move in date back two weeks the week before moving in; I had to go back and change the furniture being delivered, ulities, and insurance date. Even after the two weeks nothing was fix I had to call the maintenance men back repeatedly. Second thing I never get sick I was sick once or twice a month with that being said I found mold in corners so I believe they painted over it . The ...workers/managers only care about their own personal game ! Oh If you new to the complex they will believe anything that the old tenants say and punish you . January 29, 2021The reason why we love Hawthorne at the ridge because the apartment is nice and the neighbors is quiet. Nice place to wash your car instead of going to the car wish . Live the activity and contest that the office do. Live when the food trucks come. Those are really good. Especially love the park and the space that the kids have to play. Building a great community at the top of the ridge.
January 20, 2021I moved into Hawthorne at the Ridge about three years ago. Being a person who moves a lot I have spent many years in apartments and I can share with you that these apartment homes are really special. The office staff is amazing, kind, and work with and for you. The maintenance staff here is fast, courteous, and knowledgeable. Both respond to your compliments, complaints, and issues with professionalism and haste. It's been a real treat to live in place that produces a community and not just a ...place where walls hold individuals. Quite Apartment Home
January 19, 2021Hawthorne at The Ridge is a nice, quite apartment home. Upon touring the apartment, I was concerned about noise levels since the property is quite large. However, we have mostly not had any noise issues at all. Any maintenance issues we have had, have been resolved within 2 days. We had a more urgent issue and it was taken care of within maybe an hour. The property sits off of the main road and has been a great place to live!Property Manager Responded
