Stay Away
July 5, 2018What the pictures don't tell you is how old these apartments are. They don't tell you about the landlord completely failing to control tenants. They don't tell you about how loud the neighbors are and how much of their life you will hear. They don't show the weed smell you have to constantly inhale in your hallway. We are disgusted with our time in Heather Glen and we feel like we made a MAJOR mistake moving here. The display unit is great but please don't be fooled.Property Manager Responded

Wonderful 2 bedroom apartment
April 17, 2018I love my apartment. It is newly renovated. I have a washer and dryer and hardwood floors. I haven’t had any issues since I’ve moved in. I put in a few service requests in the past and they’ve gotten done on the same exact day. The manager Victoria is also very nice and helpful.Property Manager Responded

May 9, 2016I am a long time resident of Heather Glen. Since the new owners have taken over I have noticed a lot of improvements. The management is friendly and available to the residents. When I have an issue it is taken care of quickly. The properties common areas are kept clean and well lit. My apartments has huge bedrooms and a lot of closet space. "The saddest thing in life, is wasted talent"
February 20, 2016Well where can we begin? I know people had problems with the old management, but mine did not start until Berger took over. It appears management is brain dead. I have a a construction zone demolition dumpster outside of my window for over a year. I called was told it would be moved, they put a new dumpster right back in the same spot. Even on a Saturday I wake to thumping appliances being tossed around in the morning. They will also rehab apartments on a Saturday, waking you early morning. This ...is wonderful, as I work nights. Thanks Heather Glen! I have been without heat & hot water on two random days, one being the coldest night of the year. Came home Came home 11/24/15 at night to a surprise notice they would need to do electrical work in the apartment on 11/25/15 (Thanksgiving Eve!) Berger really shined during the snow storm. You take your life in your hands everytime it is snow/ice and have to traverse the slanted lot. There are some positives: maintenance is good, and fixes issues INSIDE the apartment, and the units are spacious. Also the area is great. Needless to say I will not being renewing my lease with Heather Glen. There are way better options in West Chester, find them!Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Horrible Place
February 4, 2016Unless you like rude staff members who walk around thinking they're too good to say hello, your car being snowed in for days, and freezing in the winter I would not rent here. They are jacking up the prices from 1100$ to 1400$ for some cheap renovations to the kitchen. The girl in the office, Melissa, is rude and a liar. I don't know how she was even hired to work around people. There was one lady named Dee who worked in the office who was at least nice but this new lady is just awful. If you put ...in a maintenance request, they're rude staff members named Jeff and Howard basically just blame you for whatever is wrong. It took them almost a week to shovel the parking lot and everyone in my building (an the entire apartment complex) had to miss work yet they like to send out "reminders" to everyone to pay their rent. There was a bug problem when I moved in and the maintenance people basically blamed it on us! They are so cheap you would think that they weren't getting paid to take care of the buildings. You can't do laundry because the machines are so dirty that it leaves clothes smelling like mildew no matter how much detergent you use! Th playground in the back of the complex is just horrible with rusted slides and swings! I wouldn't recommend my worst enemy to live here.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Waste of money
February 2, 2016The first review is a lie, the building is old paint chipping smell coming from the hall and basement. Staff is nice when you first move in but are rite don't even say hi when you speak to them coming out your apartment. Took 4 days for them to clean the snow from the parking lot a lot of people missed work they didn't care. Heat is off in multiple buildings and it's winter they don't care they come in saying they legally have to provide up to 65 degree of heat in the apartment when it's 18 ...degrees outside and it's cold in the apartment. They just want to kick eveyone out and raise the prices 500 extra dollars. I'm laying 1100 and the new move in price is 1400 to 1600 they didn't do anything but take out the carpet. September 25, 2015One of the hidden gems in the West Chester area. Very spacious 2 bedroom, 1 bath apartment with off-street parking. Recently sold to Berger Realty Group who is making several improvements to the buildings, including on-site maintenance, improved laundry facilities and a very rapid response to maintenance requests. Dog and cat friendly, quiet neighborhood, friendly neighbors. I've lived here for 5 years with my 13 year old daughter and I really enjoy living here.Review from Apartments.com
