Smell of trash in the morning

Current resident at Heather Park. Only one dumpster with compactor for the whole complex. Compactor doesn't have the capacity so it gets full quickly. Residents then throw their garbage bags on the sidewalk where animals and the weather can wreck havoc on them. Do they expect residents to know how to operate the commercial compactor? I wish this site would let me upload photos. Maybe then management would work to address the trash issue instead of working to take down poor reviews. I hate walking ...
my kid past the smell of rotting garbage on the way to daycare or the park.

I just recently moved in. The property is in a great location, and a pretty quiet area. It’s in close proximity to schools, restaurants and shopping. The property looks like it has been kept up well. I like that there’s a workout facility and bikes on-site. They have an awards program for residents. So far, it’s been a good experience!

The area is a great to live. Convenient to the local schools, stores and the bus stop is close to the complex.
Staff is friendly and professional. If I have a maintenance issue; it is fixed at a timely matter. Noise level is what is expected at an apartment complex. Overall, I’m happy living at Heather Park Apartment Homes.

Everything seems very good except for the cleanliness of the stairs and walk ways. The apartments also needs a little power washing. Maintenance is always on time. Staff is great! Also when I moved in my carpet was not 100% clean

While we genuinely appreciate residing here, I feel compelled to address a noticeable decline in the building's upkeep, noise levels, and maintenance services. I have previously communicated about the concerning state of our stairwells, which appear to be accumulating a concerning growth of black mold. How difficult could it be to hose down the staircases ever fortnight?? I do not like living in filth!!!! Additionally, I encountered a water leak in my apartment that resulted in significant damage ...
to the drywall, which remains unrepaired. I want to emphasize that this is not a criticism of the maintenance staff, particularly Mike, who consistently demonstrates exceptional dedication. However, it is evident that the workload exceeds his capacity to effectively address all issues. Furthermore, the noise levels have become increasingly disruptive, with residents revving their cars at unreasonable hours, both during the night and morning. I hope that these concerns will be addressed!!
