I would not recommend this apartment community. The property is outdated, maintenance is poor, and the overall living experience does not justify the rent and additional fees.
Some of the major issues include:
Excessively high trash charges, typically ranging from $20 to $30 per month.
Ineffective pest control. We frequently encounter flies and fleas inside the apartment, which indicates that pest management is not being handled properly.
Unreasonably high water bills. For a 1-bedroom apartment ...
with 3 occupants, the water bill is often $150 or more per month, which seems excessive compared to similar properties in the area.
Very old dishwashers that clog frequently and require constant attention.
Outdated electric stoves/cooktops that heat unevenly and can damage cookware over time.
Aging infrastructure throughout the property that contributes to frequent maintenance concerns.
What is even more frustrating is the lack of accountability regarding utility issues. Whenever residents question the unusually high water bills, they are simply told to contact Anterra Management for an explanation. If management redirects every billing concern elsewhere, it raises the question of what role the on-site management and maintenance teams are actually playing. Residents should not have to chase multiple parties just to understand why they are being charged such high utility costs.
The maintenance team often appears limited to addressing surface-level issues, while larger ongoing concerns such as pest control, aging appliances, and excessive utility charges remain unresolved. Instead of taking ownership and helping residents find solutions, management frequently passes responsibility to third parties, creating unnecessary frustration.
Overall, this community feels neglected, with outdated appliances, poor pest control, high utility costs, and a management approach that lacks responsiveness and transparency. Prospective tenants should carefully consider these issues before signing a lease. The property would significantly benefit from updated appliances, improved maintenance standards, better pest control services, and more accountability from management when residents raise legitimate concerns.
