No Air Conditioning for Months
September 27, 2021The apartments look nice, but many, many, many things will break and the office will suddenly become impossible to reach. We have leaks, we've had pest issues, no air conditioning, and things CONSTANTLY break. We have pages and pages full of maintenance orders. We've been left without air conditioning for TWO summers here - and the office says they "don't offer" air conditioning in their leases (even though it IS in the lease and it's also listed on their website) - so a forewarning to anyone ...looking for actually habitable apartments! I've been told that nearly (20) other properties currently do not have any air conditioning in 85-90 degree heat - and they claim it takes '6-8 weeks' to even order parts for their units.. So, while the units don't look bad on the outside, I can guarantee it's not worth dealing with this place.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Poor Ventilation, Management and Maintenance Staff
February 9, 2021Nice apartment if you like carpet. Poor ventilation. I have to open my patio door to get air sometime because felt like i was suffocating during the winter months because that dry heat. If don't smoke, you don't want to live next door to someone that does because you will get every smell and secondhand smoke in your apartment that the neighbor is doing. if they got a medical card, prepare to get a contact. Poor management. If you need a repair and make a request it take about a month before ...they respond(not making the repair). Then when the maintenance guy shows up he tells you they only have 2 maintenance workers for the complex like you suppose to have some sympathy for them. Bad Management
November 26, 2019The apartment is nice to live. The Property Management is horrible. It took them 1 entire month to fix AC during Summer. Now I'm planning to move out, I checked in with them, they have a 2 full calendar months notification policy and you need to go in and sign. Otherwise, you need to pay even when you are not living there. Now I'm only a week away, they are saying I need to hire professional carpet cleaner Terrible Property Management.Property Manager Responded

Bad Management!!!
February 2, 2019I lived almost 2 years (Had no choice) but rental office staff was very rude. Rental management treat very bad way with current tenant. Do not trust them when you go there for rent. Reasonably Priced Short Term Housing
March 13, 2017The overlook is still relatively new so the rooms have a nice open floor plan and modern kitchen. The staff is easy to get ahold of but they can't always help. Be careful when you move out because they will try and nickel and dime you. I've done a couple short term rentals and at the end of each lease they substantially increased the rent if I would have stayed. The snow removal is almost nonexistent and on multiple occasions its taken days to be able to to get out. Not bad if you need a place ...less then a year or so. Best apartment ever!
August 4, 2015We live at the High Pointe Overlook Apartments located in a quiet neighborhood in Harrisburg, PA. It's close to downtown as well as shopping and restaurants. Our apartment is beautiful and spacious. High ceilings, great lighting, lots of closet space, huge balcony, and new appliances, cabinets, and tile. There is a lot of room for walking the dog outside, and there's a beautiful pool, tennis court, fitness center, and cyber café. We feel very at home here, and we plan to stay!Review from Apartments.com
