January 24, 2021My partner and I lived in a 2/1 some time ago and we only lasted 8 months in our year lease. We had a ground floor apartment underneath a heavy set tenant and her large dogs...and we heard everything she ever did. The ceiling was so loud we couldn’t even sleep. Basically loud creaking noises and lots of thumps. Appliance noise too. We could hear the dogs jump off the bed, showers running, literally everything and it was LOUD. Ironically, when she moved out, a thin gentleman moved in and the ...ceiling noise was still pretty bad. January 9, 2021Noise levels are unbearable here. Don't live on the bottom or middle floors or you will hear very loud footsteps above you. The only people happy here are the people who pay premium for the top floor which is not worth it given that you can get much nicer and quieter apartments at other complexes in Athens. Rent increased almost $200 at renewal which is absolutely not worth it for this janky place. Neighbors are not friendly and frequently have domestic violence incidents and scream and yell at ...each other and management does nothing about it.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
