My partner and I lived in a 2/1 some time ago and we only lasted 8 months in our year lease. We had a ground floor apartment underneath a heavy set tenant and her large dogs...and we heard everything she ever did. The ceiling was so loud we couldn’t even sleep. Basically loud creaking noises and lots of thumps. Appliance noise too. We could hear the dogs jump off the bed, showers running, literally everything and it was LOUD.

The only people happy here are the people who pay premium for the top floor which is not worth it given that you can get much nicer and quieter apartments at other complexes in Athens. High Ridge is exactly what it is marketed as, a little community. I feel safe there and it's easy to get to know your neighbors. The office staff are super helpful and this is by far the best experience I've had with apartments in Athens.

Love the wood floors and spacious rooms. i love the woodsy feel of the surrounding forest. It is also great to relax after a workout in my own hottub! I feel like I'm living in a vacation resort!
