Highland Lofts Apartments

reason I've rated it 4 starts instead of 5 is due to a horribly high Seattle City Light bill I received in my first billing cycle. I was the only occupant in the apartment, and received a $600ish bill for 2 months of services. When I called to dispute the bill, I was told that everything was correct and conctacted the current property manager about it. He called out a preferred electrician to check things out, who also said everything was normal and that using my heater during high surcharge periods caused the bill. I never used the heater again after that in fear of accumulating another extreme bill, so the cold months were COLD, but property management has since changed, and under Sandra's new direction, I feel confidently that no such charge would have been deemed acceptable. Sandra seems to have great visions for the community and has already begun to implement changes to benefit each resident (improving parking regulations, enforcing standards of cleanliness on the grounds, and providing a very approachable demeanor). I had an incident with a neighbor who had been badgering me at one point, and Sandra was quick to provide communication and a solution that helped to resolve the issues I was experiencing. Would highly recommend!
