Avoid this property at all cost
February 19, 2021Where do I begin? Please do not allow the cheap rent to lure you in it’s not worth it. To make this short and sweet I will provide an honest list of what is wrong with this place 1. Leasing office staff and management is awful they never pick up the phones, like seriously ever and the RARE times they do they are incredibly rude and belittle you. I am not sure what the leasing office does all day because they are never available and can never provide a solution 2. These apartments have zero ...insulation you can hear and smell your neighbors every move I hear my upstairs neighbors conversations at all times I hear them flush the toilet and worst of all I can smell in my unit whatever comes through the vents such as marijuana, cigarettes, and acrylic nail powder 3. The actual quality of the unit itself is terrible and extremely low grade when my apartment was turned into me I noticed that all of my bathroom and kitchen cabinets where painted over and whoever did the work did not bother to clean them first and then paint in other words my cabinets have hair and trash that is visible on the surface that was painted over instead of being removed and then painted everything is basically falling apart here 4.There is no cameras here at least not in the building or in the carports, I got all four tires of my car tires stolen here and when I took it up with management they really said “come back and talk to us when you have the police report maybe we can use it and show the company to justify why we need more cameras” as a business why would you wait until crime escalated to get cameras ? 5.The complex is incredibly unsafe people speed through the property at all hours of the day, multiple break ins day and night, I’ve witnessed two breaks in one at night and one during the day and the leasing office seriously said they knew who it was and where trying to catch the guy but had not been able to. People also hang out in there cars and play very loud music in the parking lot, not to mention the SWAT is always here doing drug bust I’ve been woken up at 4am several times to sirens and SWAT teams yelling at drug dealers to surrender 6.This complex has switched ownership many times and with the latest owners cannon management the quality of living and crime has gotten worse I never see the supposed security patrol here and gates are always broken wide openProperty Manager Responded

FIND SOMEPLACE ELSE
September 15, 2019I've lived here close to three years, these apartments have gotten worse and worse every year. Management does not care about the safety of the residents. I came home from work at 3:00am on August 31 to a crime scene! The incident is in the news just look up the date and address of these apartments. Nickle and dime you! Stay away!
August 22, 2019I lived there for 2 years and when we left, we got hit with fees and fees! The biggest was the carpet! $800!! We TRIED to schedule an in person final review days BEFORE so we would now what to do ourselves and avoid getting charged. Talked to 3 different people, 3 different times (including the property manager directly! ) and got nowhere. They took our $600 deposit and sent a bill for over $650. November 28, 2017I lived here for 2 years and anytime I have a problem I call the front office. Omg they never pick up the phone I always have to walk up there to put my work orders in which is not easy I have to take my 2 children with me just cause they don’t like to pickup the phones .Property Manager Responded

Steady Decline
April 19, 2016We have lived at Highland Meadows for almost two years now and were once very happy until management and staff started changing their behavior. The staff can be friendly under their own convenience and certain staff members choose to not accommodate for the residents, while other staff members will. Management leaves messages on everyone’s front doors regarding the same issues they are having very frequently. Instead of addressing those who are not following the policies personally they would ...rather bother everyone about it. Management is also consistently terrible with communication regarding changes and maintenance issues. There is only one staff member who has always been honest, accommodating, respectful and truly nice at this apartment complex, and she is the only reason we have stayed. As for the apartments themselves, it is located very close to the freeway which is nice, but because it is so close to an intersection it can be loud. Maintenance works promptly and we have never had an issue with getting anything repaired or replaced. The buildings are getting older and they are always shutting the water off due to repairs. They have also taken away portions of grass areas due to the drought, which is fine, except the choice of wood chips to replace the grass makes the apartments look less appealing. Overall, I really enjoyed living here at one point and now I feel we are paying too much for little quality, as well as bad customer service.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com

October 9, 2015They have 2 be 2ba master has walk I. Closet pool,jacuzzi,gym,pets OK ,all schools near by ,fwy,great access to mall shopping centers ,markets all walking distance,also security. Living at Highland Meadows
September 8, 2015I have lived in many apartments around the inland empire and Highland Meadows is one of the nicest places I have lived. The apartments are awesome. They offer one and two bedroom apartments. They are close to both the freeway and Reche Canyon. The apartments are also really close to restaurants and shops. You don't have to go very far to run errands or go to the mall. The premises are always kept clean, they have security, and really nice people in the office. Maintenance is quick to respond and ...repair any issues. They also allow pets, have a gym, pools, and have a lot of parking.
