Nice location
September 22, 2025This property is located conveniently right off Highway 29 , but set back far enough and surrounded by trees so you dont realize it. The management does a great job, the landscaping looks great, in winter everything is shoveled and plowed quickly and salted. If you need something or have a problem , they are on it quickly. Definitely worth checking it out if you are looking for a rental on the West side of Wausau.Property Manager Responded

Excellent
July 8, 2022I rented at Highland Spring Villas for a year and would have stayed but wanted to move closer to family. The property is beautiful, well maintained and clean. The area is quiet, wooded and peaceful. The apartments are spacious and updated. Karen and Mark, the property managers are kind, responsive and always working on the upkeep of the property. Mail packages are left outside with no worries of someone stealing them. Neighbors are friendly and the neighborhood safe. Overpriced for what you get !
July 2, 2022These units are built poorly and overpriced for what you get . The rent keeps going up regardless of a lack of updating or repairs. Parking is a problem, trash if often a long walk to a dumpster, The new management seems to be an improvement from the old ones but there are still some weird things and concerns in addition to just charging too much rent for what is offered.Property Manager Responded

We are continually investing back in the property to make sure it stays an excellent community to live. Rent can be very expensive but I'm sure you understand that we are only charging market rates just like every other landlord. It's important that we charge market rates so that we can afford to maintain the property in a class A manner. Highland Spring Villas is a wonderful place to live in an amazing wooded setting and we are committed to keeping it that way!
