Scorpions issues and you wont get your deposit
June 12, 2023They have scorpion issues, they will do everything to not refund your deposit to you even if you leave it clean and in good conditions...police visits all the time, no one respects your parking space either. Save your self a headache.Review from Apartments.com
Avoid the headache
February 5, 2021From the time I moved into the apartment, the maintenance & overall cleanliness was atrocious but especially the maintenance. My move-in date was pretty much what I expected because I wasn’t given a tour first before signing all of the papers so when I got into the house and saw was; the microwave was broken & the countertop was burnt, there was paint on the burners, paint on all the fixtures, leaking bathtub faucet & sink in the kitchen faucet. MOST IMPORTANTLY!!! No shower head for the first ...four days! Visible MOLD & mildew in the shower & in the cabinet underneath the sinks in kitchen/bathroom! It appeared that it all had been used just before I got there. There were boot marks on the floors & the bath tub was never even cleaned! Or like it had been cleaned but then used for a week? & now this happens.. I hope highlands is embarrassed If they’re reading this. I guess I just don’t have to clean when I move out & the next person will have to deal with it like I did but then I’m wondering what can I do to even lose my deposit? I find it very odd that I have called for four months now & all the sudden you guys show up the next day like it’s not a big deal. Four months late, to fix the leak for the moldy sink.. gave me a plastic faucet & did nothing about the mold. Impossible to get ahold of the front office & don’t seem to care when you do. Lived here for years.
January 17, 2018Don't waste your time or money. Yes they are doing improvements in apartments but walls and floors are super thin. Remember office space knock on the walls and see if someone responds back. If you're negihbors smoke you will enjoy the smells of cigarettes and anything else even if your apartment is closed up. Because windows and door seals suck. Entire time living here we have had a Scorpion problem even if though they bait almost every month and we have tried sealing up bad seals . Stray cats ...and pigeons every where, they allow pets but only half of owners clean up after them. Found out from other people in community there neighbors do drugs and they did nothing about it for months even though he is getting high in his place because of his neighbors. Heard he was moving because it. Yet his neighbors are still there. Rent constantly rises every renewal by hundreds. People always slamming doors and car alarms going off. And good luck with parking. This place is home!
August 24, 2015I was looking for an apartment in many different areas of Phoenix, Scottsdale, Tempe even Ahwatukee and none of them compare to what I found here in Gilbert. The Highlands at Spectrum apartments were the cheapest but the largest in square footage which really surprised me! They have the nine foot ceilings and huge roman tubs in the both bathrooms. I just love how well they keep up the grounds and how friendly all my neighbors are. Right off of the 202 by Santan mall these apartments are not only large boasting open floor plans but have amazing amenities like a luxurious pool, gym, and pool table area. August 11, 2015To be completely honest, Highlands At Spectrum is a great place to live if you have a family. Very nice people to enjoy your company but, don't expect to do a lot with your neighbors. Most people that live here stay to themselves. The carpet in the apartments are horrible! I wish they would remove them and put some kind of different flooring in them. August 4, 2015Me and my wife our newly weds and we needed an apartment fast so we went apartment searching found one called The highlands at spectrum. They got us in as soon as 3 days which is outstanding and rent is afforadable for these beautiful luxury apartments nice gated community, very nice people in the office they are always smiling and greet you and remember your name! They help with anything you need and just make you feel welcome! Plus they provide breakfast every Saturday morning which is a plus! ...I seriously recommend the highlands at spectrum to any first time movers. You won't be disappointed.
