By far the worse apartment I have ever had ! Don’t believe the other reviews.
March 12, 2024I wish I could say something good about this place but I can’t. Ok let’s start with the building it’s literally falling apart. The ceiling is collapsing in the hallways. The rugs are stained and torn up in the hallways and lobby. There’s garbage everywhere in the building and the property. Packages are constantly stolen. There’s little to no security cameras. The bathroom literally has gaps in the walls and showers. The bathroom leaks. Lights don’t work, appliances have issues. You can literally ...hear everyone’s tv and everyone talking and everyone’s dog around you on a normal day. There’s dog poop all over the grounds sometimes even inside the stairways. Management doesn’t do anything at all . Laundry machines work 50 percent of the time. Extremely overpriced Rent.You have to pay 100 extra for a mandatory parking spot or your car gets ticketed and towed. High crime area for an area that’s supposedly safe. Could be a lot better.
November 10, 2017I've lived at Hillside for a few years now. While the location is great and the units have beautiful wooden floors, the incompetent management and maintenance outweigh any of the benefits. It's near impossible to get a satisfactory response from anybody in a timely fashion—even when you have a maintenance emergency.Property Manager Responded

Morgan Properties 304 Hillside Avenue is the BEST place to live!
February 4, 2016I have been living at Hillside Gardens for almost a year now. It is the best place you could possibly live. The staff and supers are wonderful. They treat you like family, rather than a tenant. I am always amazed at the attention to the care of the flowers, shrubs, and grass. There is always someone available to help if you need assistance or maintenance. There is a cleaning service that comes regularly to take care of the public areas. There are brand new washers and dryers that take a ...card with funds added in so you don't have to carry around pounds of quarters. My neighbors are wonderful, too.
