April 1, 2025Review Update for Hillside Meadow (Now Operated by Post Road Management) Address: 1526 Parkline Dr, Pittsburgh, PA 1227 I am deeply disappointed with the way Hillside Meadow, now managed by Post Road Management, handles tenant concerns. After my initial review questioning the unclear utility charges, I received no response from management—neither from the review nor the email I sent. Instead of addressing my valid concerns, my utility bills were suddenly increased shortly after posting my ...review. This feels like a clear act of retaliation rather than a genuine attempt to resolve the issue. Potential renters should be aware of the following issues: • Lack of Communication: Management consistently ignores tenant inquiries and fails to provide clear explanations for charges. • Unexplained Utility Increases: Utility costs can be unexpectedly raised without justification, and questions about billing go unanswered. • Retaliatory Behavior: Voicing concerns may result in unfair treatment rather than solutions. Inconsistent utility fee without explanation
March 27, 2025Potential renters, be cautious before signing a lease at Hillside Meadows Apartments. The management here has a pattern of advertising lower rent prices to attract tenants but then unexpectedly increasing utility charges without clear explanations. Many tenants have reported being charged for utilities like: • Gas bill back • Sewer bill back • Storm water bill back • Trash bill back • Water bill back • Service fees Despite multiple requests, there is no proof or breakdown of how these ...charges are calculated, and the amounts seem to vary each month. Some tenants were even promised a flat-rate utility charge, only to find themselves paying inconsistent fees without explanation. Whilst Some tenants are made to pay lesser flat rates charges for their utility fee, others are also made to pay higher charges (non-flat rate) for the same utilities listed above. If you’re considering moving in, ask for a detailed breakdown of all potential charges before signing—otherwise, you may find yourself paying far more than expected. March 7, 2025Apartments are overpriced and the units are anything but clean I lived here for 6 years and nothing has changed they have a roach problem and there have been complaints about bed bugs and they always have a excuse to the problem and nothing changes. Bait and switch
September 19, 2024When you call, they will quote you prices $100-200 more than what is listed here. If you ask why they are not the same as what is on this site, they will say that they have "no idea" but that "a lot of people ask about it for some reason." Well duh, shouldn't you be looking into this if that's the case? Their actual website doesn't list prices at all, only has "call for price." Seems like they just make prices up as they go. So glad I picked hillside
August 18, 2024I just moved here over. A month ago . An honestly I’m so glad I did . The apartments are very clean , affordable, diverse area, there is soo many stores/restaurants minutes away ! Lastly I love the location ! Definitely be renewing my lease it’s nice saving money and the apartments are seriously nice !! I absolutely love my little studio apartment !Review from Apartments.com
