ACTUALLY HORRIBLE
December 12, 2022This is a horrible place to live. I live here now. There have been a plethora of issues and management has failed to address any of them. 1) There is a package thief in the building. Many residents have had packages stolen from inside the building and management refuses to help or install cameras. 2) I have had a leak in my ceiling for several days and have been unable to sleep in my apartment. Management has not responded to my calls or emails to ask for help. I went to the physical office ...and it was closed--at 2pm on a Monday. HORRIBLE. Do not give them your money. The management is absolutely horrible and leaves us residents feeling helpless.Property Manager Responded

Great place to live in Berkeley
August 14, 2015I'm renting a studio here at Hillside Village, and I really love it. The staff is helpful and the building is well maintained. My unit is cozy and has a nice view of the Berkeley Hills. I'm close to UC Berkeley, Downtown Berkeley and Bart, so the location is outstanding, with numerous places within close walking distance, including numerous stores, restaurants and bars. San Francisco is just a short 23 minute ride away on Bart.Review from Apartments.com
Great location, space, and price.
August 9, 2015I lived in a great 2bd/2ba here for two years. Being right on Shattuck was great and gave us access to the great food of north Berkeley, easy access to campus and a quiet-ish community which was clean and well maintained. The rooms were big and spacious. The live jazz on Fridays from the restaurant downstairs is a nice perk too!Review from Apartments.com
