I honestly would like to stay since I have been here for 3+ years already however the current roach issue has become much worse and is a “DEAL BREAKER” for me. Although the price and location is decent and the staff is pretty amazing I do not want to deal with another summer afraid to find giant roaches in my apartment. I believe there may be an issue with the sewers at this location in chandler that may not be the apartments fault. Again not a bad place but I do think that some of the apartments ...

are older and need updating as it does have that “landlord’s special” appeal.

Unbearable roach problem

The location is great and staff is friendly. However, the apartment has a serious roach issue. I have stayed at the apartment for a year and have encountered large roaches almost every week in the kitchen and bathroom area. Even with the help of pest control, management was unable to solve this ongoing problem.

I moved here in mid summer 2017, it is fantastic here more like condo living than apartment. The office staff are courteous, friendly and helpful and the maintenance crew are exceptional. When a problem arises they take care of it immediately. It is clean and maintained. I love it here.

I moved into this area because the 2 bedroom had a nice enough space for the price range and have stayed for 3 years. I have to share that my first two months were very troubling because I had to deal with a leaking roof when a heavy storm rolled in. That did get fixed once the weather stopped being rainy but that was a terrible ordeal and the worst experience I could have as a first-time renter. Past that we've only had the usual minor utility issues that are either examined quickly or ...

occasionally missed/forgotten. Bulbs, faucet handles, and piping all get examined thoroughly. The staff is extremely friendly and very caring. A neighbor once backed into my car and one of the groundskeepers who witnessed it was kind enough to tell me what he saw and stuck around to help me report the incident. The location is a plus because you're close to the freeway and shopping plazas, though the freeway can get annoying when you leave the window open during the fall/winter (depending on which side you're on). There are some nice pool spots and a small gym if you're looking for those, but I didn't use them at all. Regardless of the bad things that happened, overall it was a more pleasant experience to live there.

I've lived at Hohokam Villas for about a year now. Given the price and sq feet area, it has been a very good experience. The management is very nice and takes care of issues asap. Also, the area is very good with lots of shopping complexes within a 2 mile radius. Very peaceful and green living area.Highly recommended.

Hohokam Villas is a well-maintained apartment complex in a great area. My husband and I have only lived here a short period of time, but it has been a very smooth transition from the house we were renting previously. The grounds are well taken care of and there is always plenty of parking. Management has proved to be very helpful as well and quick to reply to our requests. While the apartment we are renting is a little small, it is nice and clean and we cannot hear the surrounding tenants at all. ...

I wish the kitchen and bathroom had more updated flooring and cabinets, but everything is very functional and our appliances are brand new. We are very close to shopping and restaurants, and being right off the 101 freeway makes commuting a breeze. We are seriously considering staying here longer than our current lease because it has been a very good fit for us.
