Hard to leave Hollandale
August 11, 2022Leaving Hollandale after a 12 year stay. So many great memories. Can't say enough about what a wonderful experience this has been. The staff has been consistently courteous and responsive, maintenance requests are handled quickly and professionally. Well kept grounds are beautiful, peaceful, rustic and quiet. So many other properties besides this one - stay away
December 7, 2021My husband & I have lived here for 1.5 years now. Besides our apartment being renovated before we moved in, there are no positives to living here. Everyone in the leasing office is rude with some sort of attitude if you call or email them, there's piles upon piles of goose poop EVERYWHERE in the complex, and the neighbors are horrendous. We never had a single noise complaint to make until someone moved in above us, to which I was told "it'll be addressed" and never was, considering they're just ...as loud as the day I emailed the leasing office about them. Over the summer, I emailed maintenance for a POTENTIAL water leak on our hot water tank. There was no water actively leaking from it, no puddles anywhere. I just wanted someone to come and take a look at it. The next day, maintenance came by to look at it, but never left a note or told anyone that they were coming by - I only knew they were in our apartment because the camera picked them up. When I called the front office to ask if anything was wrong with it, I was reamed out stating "you need to call the emergency line for things like this, this is unacceptable". Mind you, this was 100% a minor issue, and our first time ever needing maintenance to come by. We live right next to the playground, so expect screaming screeching kids until 10PM when it's nice outside. Everyone slams the door to the building and screams and yells in the hallways outside people's doors, which is a lot of fun when you work 12 hour hospital shifts & need to be up for work at 5AM. Staff is super rude
November 2, 2019The few folks in staff are very rude and not welcoming. They have portrayed quite a lot and most of these things don't work. e.g. appliances are from 1990s and quite inefficient. Geyser in workout room never worked and it still doesn't work. Its just a showpiece to portray.Review from Apartments.com
Stinks
