The management is hellish
August 5, 2021The water has been off in my apartment for over a week and no one seems to be making any attempt at fixing it or making temporary accommodations until pushed to the limit. Everything needs to be harped upon relentlessly. They find excuses to charge you for everything. Their unprofessionalism and rudeness is a pattern you have to deal with every day. March 2, 2018I've been living at Holly Brook for about 5 years and absolutely love this apartment complex. There are several buildings, some with older apartments, some with newer renovations. The apartments are spacious, nice, and affordable. Management is great- Maribeth is a very nice landlord, responsive to emails, and when you have a maintenance request they respond very quickly. There are washer/dryers in every building, but you do have to pay to use them (~$2 per load). The apartment is very quiet and ...walls are thick. There might be some students living here, but its mostly young professionals, so its not loud and you don't have to worry about BU students partying here. My only complaint is that maintenance typically plows the parking lot around mid morning, after most people have to go to work, so it can be difficult to get out if there's a big storm. I also wish it was dog friendly, not just cat friendly. But overall I love living here and feel its the nicest apartment complex in the area that isn't student housing.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
