Overall good but poor communication
September 4, 2021 - Review from Apartments.comOverall, a good place to live- it is safe, has a great neighborhood, people are friendly. At the start of living there, we felt very welcomed, and whenever we had a maintenance issue we were gladly helped. However, as the year went on, maintenance became less responsive, the office was mostly closed and the worker there would rarely get back to me on phone calls and some emails. Fortunately, it did not affect me much, but I felt less supported. The biggest issue was surrounding the pool. More ...often than not, it was closed (despite beautiful summer days!) and there was very poor communication with tenants with hour changes. It honestly became very shady in terms of having available lifeguards but the pool being closed either way without further communication to tenants. It was a real shame and had horizon homes had a better way of communicating and listening to tenants, I would not be as disappointed in the company as I currently am.Read More

They keep in contact with you regarding everything, their communication is excellent! The apartment itself is large and has plenty of closet space. The kitchen is very cute as well, lots of cabinet space and updated appliances and also includes a microwave. I love my deck too perfect for meditation or just to relax after a long day working. Spacious units, and we get all the basic amenities for reasonable rent. Leasing office was always amazing and their maintenance team was too good and timely. Overall we had an amazing stay and would recommend Horizon Homes for anyone looking for peaceful and a pleasant stay.Property Manager Responded

November 19, 2019 - Review from Apartments.comI am not kidding. They are ripping balconies that people pay for off their apartments at 7 am and waking up the entire complex. You would be better off trying to sleep at a heavy metal concert. This happens literally EVERY day.Property Manager Responded
December 26, 2019Thank you for your comments, and we apologize for any disturbance the building upgrade project has caused you. It wouldn't be our first choice to remove any amenity our residents enjoy but some decks have had to be removed for safety reasons. One of the nicest parts of our property - that it is heavily wooded - also makes it the most challenging for wood buildings and decks. The upgrade project includes putting in all-new energy-efficient windows in the two affected buildings - and modernizing those buildings with new insulation and siding. There is certainly no good time to make loud noises but the goal is to get the project done in the shortest reasonable amount of time to minimize the disruption.
