My fiancé and I moved in last Friday and we love it here! Toby in the office is fantastic. He was our leasing specialist and has gone above and beyond and we are so grateful we got to work with him. We’ve met maintenance for some minor issues and they are all so nice. We are so happy to call this community our new home and our fur baby Sandy agrees. Thank you again Toby!!!

Don’t make the same mistake

At first glance this property looks great for the price. New paint on the outside. Lake around the property. I lived here for one year from October 2018- October 2019. After a few month of living here we noticed mold growing from our door jamb and it rotting away and the door actually falling off the hinges. Called the office multiple times with no one coming to fix it. They left us with the mold for months until the day we moved out. Our electric bill was on average $330 because of the old ac ...
unit they refused to fix or replace and told us there was nothing wrong with it. The restroom in the master bath smelled awful the entire stay there and the toilet would leak from around the seal On the floor constantly. They wouldn’t fix that either. There was mold growing in our central air unit in the laundry room. They never change the filters and you’re going to have to purchase and replace those yourself. The grounds and greenery around the place are not maintained other than cutting the grass. Our dog was also badly attacked here by another tenants who did not register the dog and was subletting through someone else’s lease(which they “do not” allow)They let the tenants and the dog stay without looking into it at all putting others and their animals in danger.

I recently had the pleasure of touring the property with Christian. He was awesome. He has kept in touch even after the tour and has answered other questions I forgot to ask while touring. The property is well maintained, very peaceful atmosphere and near the mall and restaurants. A place I am very much considering.

Poor Staff

After emailing back and forth with Christian Indecided to end my lease early and move in to Savannah lakes. All of the sudden Christian started ignoring my emails and never responded! I went to the office and explained that he was ignoring my emails but didn't even apologize. After driving about 30 minutes to get there he didn't let us see the apartment because I didn't have an I.D. Although my husband had one (he was the one driving). He said he couldn't let me in to see it. Very rude and poor ...

Not what I hoped!

I rented a Laurel unit. the apartment is nice inside. The community is not. The landscape is poorly kept, the parking is terrible, and the extra charges are outrageous. The trash must be carried to compactor at front entry and it is always full and trash is piled up outside, right at entry to community. My electric bill is higher than on my 3bedroom house I rent out to my sister. Carpet on stairs in unit is worn and the driveway is cracked and stained. Very poorly maintained community, and prices ...
keep going up. I will be moving out when my lease is up, as everyone else seems to do. Tons of dogs and no one picks up after them! Dog park is a joke, just fenced in area of dirt. Trees hang over parking and your car will not stay clean for a day and night. don't rent here unless you a very desperate! You've been warned!

Sadly Disappointed

I have to say looking for a "safe" location is stressful, even more so when you need to find a place for your growing family. When I first went into Savannah Lakes I loved it. I thought the sales staff were some of the best I had seen (after going to about 5 different apartment locations) and I loved the upgraded apartment style. It felt like home. kept the positivity throughout my closing experience. I will say however what made me dislike the location.....we had to break our lease due to the fact that we were moving out of the state. I can say that I have to agree with the nickel and dime effect a few of the other reviews noted. We were told "we expect the apartments to be left in the way you received it". So should I have broken the closet door so it fell on top of the next person? We paid our lease cancellation in the excess of $3,000 and with that they STILL found a reason to include an additional $250 from our deposit even after we cleaned our apartment TWICE to ensure it was in the condition we received it in. There is NO customer service on the way out to the point of the friends we were recommending to the location we have since told to STAY AWAY! The exist experience was terrible and I would have to suggest if you have the option to pay a deposit or not (as we had as a sign the lease perk) DO NOT as they only try to keep more $$ from you. I will also say the maintenance staff are very rude. Since I did not speak there language they could not speak to me. Only ONE of them would say hello although I saw them be very friendly to other tenants. When I moved in I asked why did they have such bad reviews as everyone seemed so nice moving in...I was told "well something must have happened that they seemed angry enough to write one, we can't make everyone happy" I will say to the sales person (whom I will leave unnamed) you are correct - I am UPSET because the way your staff treated me on the way out. I felt as though I did something bad by relocating my family, and that feeling is only reflected the service I received on the way out.
