February 3, 2026When I approached Idea1, I had just moved and found myself in a very difficult housing situation. I was eager to make a change and was fortunate to connect with Chris, who truly went above and beyond to help me find the perfect apartment. I am now almost a week into my new home and could not be happier with the move. Chris made the entire process smooth and stress-free. I previously lived at Idea1 when the property was managed by Greystar, and it is clear how much care Fairview has put into the ...building since then. I am very much looking forward to my tenancy here. If you are considering Idea1, ask for Chris. December 4, 2025It’s a lovely community that’s FOR residents. The building alone is fantastic, from a 24 gym to a sundeck and jacuzzi and parking. They cater to residents by hosting a plethora of events in the complex and around the community partnering with local business. October 3, 2025I have lived here for nearly four years and the entire time has been an excellent experience. The building is beautiful and the cleanest I've seen anywhere downtown. It is also very safe and has a pleasant and quiet ambience. Neighbours are considerate and friendly and this is because the staff do such a brilliant job at ensuring that Idea 1 is not simply just an apartment complex but also a community that we can call home. Efficient Maintenance, But Communication Lacking
February 10, 2025The maintenance team at IDEA1 completes work orders in a timely manner. However, communication needs improvement, as staff members are not always responsive when greeted and lack professionalism. Avoid Some Units
June 21, 2022If you're choosing to live downtown, there are always going to be noises and community around the area that are different from a neighborhood. Avoid staying in certain units here though. Specifically the ones that have plumbing pipes on the ceiling. Due to the "industrial design" of the property, everything is open ceiling and plumbing pipes line a lot of the ceilings of the units. Every time someone flushes a toilet, takes a shower, it rains, or scheduled draining, you hear water through them. ...It's not quiet either; it is a very distracting and annoying sound when trying to enjoy living or sleeping.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
This is the most overpriced slum in downtown:
May 18, 2022Its literally built in skid row. The trolley thunders past the building every 15 minutes from 4:30 am until 1:30 am. There are homeless drug addicts on the sidewalk around the he building and many of them sneak in and break into cars, rooms, storages, or sleep on the roof or in stairwells. To name a few things. If you want to pay the premium prices for the Lousy housing this is the place for you!Review from Apartments.com
Not worth the trouble
August 18, 2021The people in this community are not held to any sort of standard. The management team does little to nothing to address the issues brought to their attention.
