A Wonderful Place to Call Home!
August 1, 2025Living at Indigo Apartments has been a fantastic experience! The community is welcoming, peaceful, and feels like home from day one. The area is very safe, which gives me great peace of mind whether I’m out for a walk in the evening or just relaxing at home. One of the standout features here is the excellent maintenance team—they are always prompt and efficient. Any requests I’ve submitted have been handled quickly and professionally, which makes a big difference in day-to-day comfort. The ...leasing office team is also incredibly helpful and kind. From the very beginning, they’ve been attentive, responsive, and made the whole move-in process smooth and stress-free. They continue to go above and beyond whenever I have questions or need assistance. Another thing I appreciate is how well-maintained the community areas are. RENTERS BEWARE
August 14, 2023I wish that I could give this apartment complex a 0-star review. This is one of the worst property management groups I have had the misfortune of doing business with. When I first moved into my apartment, many fixtures were broken and the dryer and garbage disposal did not work. I lived here for two years, and the garbage disposal was still not working by the time I moved out! During my time as a resident, there were several occasions where my A/C unit went out in the summer, and my heat was not ...working in the winter. On one such occasion, I had to go 5 days without heat in the winter. The apartments and appliances are very dated, and not worth the money you pay in the area. Please save yourself some grief and do business with one of the other apartment complexes in the area for a comparable rate and a much nicer apartment, with better staff running the place. When I notified them that I would not be renewing my lease, they decided to charge me a premium in addition to my regular rate that forced me to pay a whole month’s rent for a total of 3 days my final month. They tried to justify this premium by informing me that I did not give them a 60-day notice; however, they gave me lease renewal options less than a week prior to when the 60-day notice would have been due, and I gave them my notice prior to the expiration of the lease renewal options. In other words, this apartment complex will give you less than a week to review lease renewal options, attempt to negotiate those options, and decide if you want to accept those options. And if you decide that you don’t want to renew with them, they will charge you a premium even if you notify them that you will not be renewing your lease with them prior to the renewal options expire. I cannot stress this enough, please do not do business with this apartment complex and go to one of the other ones in the area. You will be glad you did!Read MoreReview from Apartments.com

May 25, 2023URGENT WARNING - NEW RESIDENTS BEWARE: This company charges you a $75 application fee PER PERSON. Background checks cost less than $25 per person so they are basically getting FREE money from you. Also, they charge you a $175 Administration Fee BEFORE your application is even accepted so be prepared to spend at least $325 after filling out application. If it gets denied, you will NOT get your $150 back for the applications if two people are on the application/lease. RUN AWAY
May 2, 2023Since this property was acquired by Avenue 5 there has been nothing but trouble. The company is greedy and money hungry and could not care less about the happiness of the tenants. In the past year they have forced residents to pay for Spectrum (many of us were with Google Fiber for much cheaper), they are forcing us to send all our packages through Fetch which causes delivery delays, confusion, and makes amazon prime delivery obsolete, they raised the rent at least 200 dollars, and the list goes ...on. You are completely unable to contact your property manager if you have any questions or issues. The office never answers the phone when you call and it takes days for anyone to respond to an e-mail. Nee management is awful
March 22, 2023Like other residents have indicated, the change in Management has been disappointing. Negatives: Communication: It is almost impossible to get any issue (e.g. lease renewals, billing errors, problems with the mail lockers, etc.) resolved over email or phone call in one try. You have to make numerous attempts to get anything resolved and usually can only get resolution if you physically go into the office and remind them multiple times about your problem. Never seen such unprofessional customer ...service/communication from a management company. This is even more frustrating when your job is during office hours and its hard for you to physically go into the office to beg management to get basic things done. Amenities/Pool: Last summer, the pool was closed and did not open until some point in July. Also, it would be nice if you guys fixed all of the BBQs and made them operational. Pet Waste: You cant go on a walk around the facilities without seeing giant turds all over. On a weekly basis, there will be pet waste on the cement sidewalks on the way to the mail box areas. Its disgusting that you have to use a flash light at night so you wont step in pet waste. Unlimited Recovery Towing: Another resident mentioned his guest’s vehicle was towed for some non-compliance with the parking rules. Quite common to see the tow truck drive around and tow people’s cars. You guys raised rent hundreds of dollars last year… do you guys really need to tow residents/guests cars for minor parking infractions?! Towing should be a last resort - inflation is already hurting peoples pockets. Cable/Internet: once again, you guys raised rent by hundreds of dollars. I know you want to find any opportunity to stick residents with more fees. Is it really necessary to force residents into purchasing internet from your exclusive provider, spectrum?! Positives: Take a walk around in the afternoon and you will not be able to miss the smell of marijuana in the air. Premises are 420 friendly. Great location. September 27, 2022I’ve lived here for 4 years and NEVER experienced such poor management. Whoever the new management is need to go! I can see the difference from the ground work, valet trash is thrown all over the property, maintenance requests take 2-3 weeks for completion, last minute “announcements”, extra fees.
