NO SECURITY? HOMELESS TAKING OVER, DIRTY GROUNDS
February 6, 2024This property is in what could be such a nice area, unfortunately, due to the owner's complete lack of regard for any of their resident's safety, ISLAND VIEW OWNERS decided to fire their on-site security over 6 months ago. Conditions have deteriorated QUICKLY. Homeless people sleep on the rooftop decks we USED TO ENJOY..every night, and in every common area, AND there to scare you when you take out your trash! What a lovely place and awesome experience here!
January 21, 2019I absolutely love it here! What a positive and kind, beautiful environment. Right off the 101, near 126, shopping and everything you need...so convenient. The people/staff here are truly caring and supportive Professionals. The process of leasing is met with assistance each step of the way - from Taylor, Laura, Sherry, Wendy and Michelle in the offices, through Jeff in financing, everything is taken care of. Dan and others in maintenance are there when we need, security is ever present, and the ...cleaning staff keeps the gym, rec room, restrooms, sports center, pool and outdoor or rooftop areas impeccable. Firepits, BBQ areas and all the accoutrements are available for our use anytime. The atmosphere is uplifting and friendly as they all seem to really enjoy their work with us, the tenants, to accommodate our needs as they can. The look and layout of our place is beautiful! We watch the sunrise in the morning over the mountains, the islands and the sunset then at the end of the day, and the hills throughout - sunrises and sunsets are stunning. Our dogs are welcomed and provided for - and that pretty much says it all. The transition from our home to this apartment setting has been gentle, because they have created a sweet balance here. A great place to call home!
October 5, 2018We absolutely love this place! We were one of the very first residents to move in, and as previous reviews have noted, there were some initial growing pains while the buildings were under construction. That said, the Island View management and staff went out of their way to mitigate those issues. We couldn't have asked for more really. The staff here are phenomenal. Jeff, Taylor, and Sherry have been here from the beginning and they all rock! (Big shout out to Dale and Sam as well!) ...Questions or concerns are promptly addressed and they go out of their way to assist you. The apartments and common areas are beautiful, as are the views. But what really stands out is the sense of community that is developing here. Neighbors are becoming friends, people socialize and are friendly. September 30, 2018Marble countertops & stainless steel appliances. Every night there’s amazing residents relaxing by the fireplace in the clubhouse, getting their workout completed in the well rounded gym, playing a round of pool, or chilling in the hot tub. September 13, 2018Despite all the negative reviews, I absolutely love living here. Yes, there have been a couple mishaps, but it's 100% understandable considering the building is still under construction...which we were all fully aware of when moving in. With all of the amenities now finished having internet, I'm obsessed with our apartment complex and I feel so unbelievably lucky to live here, I've been telling everyone I know to come look at the units that are still available for rent because the units ...themselves are gorgeous! Not only are the aesthetics a perk, but the customer service we have received from the leasing office has been beyond what I could have ever imagined. They have gone ABOVE and BEYOND to right any of the mishaps that we experienced since moving in and I will forever have nothing but amazing things to say about how they have treated us as tenants. All of the leasing staff is incredible, and I don't know if we're allowed to list names on reviews, but there has been one leasing consultant in particular who has done everything in her power to make us feel comfortable going to her with anything. Anytime we have reached out, I feel like any questions, comments, or concerns we've had, she has whole heartedly addressed with a genuine attitude. I couldn't imagine living anywhere else. Not worth it, I wish I had chosen to take my business elsewhere.
July 20, 2018In short, theres a ton of issues with this apartment complex. I can confirm that everything mentioned in the other two reviews are true. The management doesnt seem like they know what they are doing; and worst of all, I have no clue when any of these problems are going to be fixed, or if progress is even being made. Most of the amenities (the gym, the pool, the rooftops) that are advertised on their website are not finished yet, and who knows when they will be. I chose these apartments over Tempo ...in Riverpark, and frankly, I regret it. I thought the fact that they are brand new would be a positive thing, but that's not how its turning out.I would look elsewhere, there's several places in Riverpark that offer a great location, with already established amenities and services. AVOID! no internet at this property, management needs to find a solution!
July 16, 2018My wife and I moved in a couple weeks ago and were initially drawn to this place since they are a brand new complex. Unfortunately we have had too many issues. For example, this apartment complex is still not wired for internet! Unbelievable! We were told by the front office that internet would be available but according to AT&T, this complex is not even wired for internet yet! We have had to purchase a hotspot from a wireless company $$$$ in the meantime until they “figure it out.” Also, unable ...to get mail at this complex since USPS does not deliver here yet. Even Fedex and UPS packages get sent back since they cannot seem to find Island Views address in their system. Would NOT recommend living here. Island View Needs to Get Internet Service Rolling - Do Not Live Here Until That Happens
July 14, 2018There are a number of teething problems that this new building is experience. The number one thing is that there is no internet service provider that is set up to operate at the property, meaning that none of its residents currently have internet. Residents have been going to the AT&T store daily to complain as to why it is taking so long to set up the internet access to the property, only to find out that AT&T's service will only support less than 1 mb internet speeds... The property is ...trying to get internet through Spectrum set up, but management is taking the position that internet is a luxury.
