GREAT management and maintenance team.
April 19, 2025I knew the team was very good while living there. Upon moving out to a different state I've come to realize that they were GREAT, not just very good. They took care of issues quicky. The buildings are old, but they do try hard at upkeep. The only downsides we encountered were the laundry costs were higher than we've seen and the machines were hit or miss and the second was the water billing (we did not use much but it gets divided between residents so we got the short end of the stick with that, ...but we know this moving in). We would move back to these apartments in a heartbeat if moving to the area again.Property Manager Responded

No way... don’t rent here
October 9, 2018Staff is very rude. They go up on the rent every year without any improvements. The treat long term residents like they could care less about keeping them. They try to trick people into paying more at lease end or try to keep the deposit for unknown reasons. Do not rent here. Not a good value
September 20, 2017I have lived at Jamestown for two years. The apartment is very small and very basic. The kitchen has no cabinet space and less counter space. The maintenance is usually good and responsive but sometimes takes a while to completely address a problem. The MAIN PROBLEM is that the rent goes up every year at a progressively higher percentage. Same apartments are rented at different rates and the management will not negotiate the rate increase percentage. No extra value at a higher rate. They ...count on the tenants being too lazy or too stupid to move.Property Manager Responded

Renter beware
July 7, 2017Very poor management that will not address any issues other than the complaints of the very old people who live around the pool. Very uncomfortable place to live and want to let everyone else know. Have lived there a year and cant wait to get out. Dont plan on enjoying the pool because there are several very old people who overlook the pool and complain about everything. If you dont believe me, stop by the pool any evening and you'll see its like sitting in a morgue. Was actually there today on a ...friday evening and no one was there. Im sure anyone who has tried to enjoy the pool like me has been complained about and decided to just not go so they dont have to constantly deal with the bombardment of the complaints to management and the resident police officer for ANY and EVERYTHING. Because there are some discrepancies here, we urge you to please call the office to speak with our community manager, Stephanie. We'd appreciate the opportunity to discuss your Jamestown Estates experience in more detail and clear up any confusion. In the meantime, we'd like to reiterate a few of our community's important pool rules: 1. The pool is reserved for residents and their guests. 2. Guests must be accompanied by a resident of community. 3. No glass or food allowed in pool area. 4. Be careful - No rough play or running. 5. No person under 12 years of age allowed without adult supervision. 6. Use pool at your own risk. No lifeguard on duty. 7. Proper attire must be worn at/in pool.

Apartment at Jamestowne
March 21, 2017We have lived here for 8 months and will be moving out soon since we bought a house! These apartments are older and plain but well-maintained. The management is always helpful when we need them and any small maintenance requests are attended to very quickly. This complex is quiet and so convenient. Would certainly recommend them to anyone and their furry friends.Property Manager Responded

January 3, 2016Love how close I am to everything! This is a very nice, quiet and enjoyable place to live. Although rent has increase slightly when renewing my lease, it is still very reasonably priced for the East side of Pensacola.The laundry room was just upgraded to high efficiency washers and dryers that work with a laundry card instead of change! YAY, now I don't have to have quarters to do my laundry! I also just found out they are replacing all the windows this year to double pane! I love how the ...property is maintained and are always making improvements. The maintenance men are great and are really on top of work orders! Every time I have called they have came to my apartment the same day! Management has gone through some changes the last year, but the new staff is very eager to help and are always polite and professional. No complaints here! My apartment in Jamestown Estates
August 14, 2015I have been living in Jamestown Estates now for 3 1/2 years and I could say it's a quiet place. The apartment is a great size for a couple. The only thing I dislike is that the rent goes up every time you turn around. But I see no changes when it comes up to the apartments.Review from Apartments.com
