This is just a warning for future renters. I moved out early but paid my lease off. I had to continue to pay the utilities on the apartment until the lease ended. Before I moved out, I patched the holes in the wall from hanging pictures and cleaned the entire apartment before I left. Not only did they keep the security deposit, but they also charged me 168 dollars for painting the whole apartment, 110 dollars for cleaning and 73 dollars for carpet cleaning. The argued the painting of the drywall ...
patching, they said because there was a hair tumbleweed, crumbs on the countertop, and the stainless-steel appliances were smeared, the justification of the cleaning fee. Carpet was the exact same when I moved out. So, for future renters, they will find a way to charge you, because I am telling you, the place was spotless when I moved out, they had to take a magnifying class and find crumbs to find another charge. On top of that, I had not heard from them in months, and they send a final bill and a required response of two days, or they send it to collections. I had never had issues with apartment complexes like this before, so please my advice is to take your business elsewhere.

My job transfered me from Texas, I found the townhouse site unseen, just on line. Transactions were smooth. Also the ladies in the office have been wonderful. Everytime I call or go into the office, they are respectful, intuitive and eager to help. Every request, issue or problem was taken care of promptly. The grounds are clean, the gym is nice. I'm totally satisfied with my choice. Even the surrounding community has lots going on.

They do not attend you if it is not by appointment and you talk to them from the door, they do not even let you pass to the office I took 4000 background check a month and I was not approved

I am not writing this out of anger. But living here was one of the worst mistakes of my adult life. I would HATE for someone to be in the situation that I was in with these people. I have since moved and feel like life is so enriched now! Everyday I go 'home' to my new place I feel overwhelmed with having got out of the awful lease with Melody and Kennedy Place.
I moved there before the new management came along. THEN, it was truly a home like townhouse community. But when the new people came ...
they started changing everything. (Which is understandable - but to a point) They made me get rid of my cats that I had for 3 years. I told her that it was myself, my child and my cats, they were my babies also - part of my family. "She said It was in the new lease." I needed my place to live, so I got rid of them, and it broke our hearts. Afterwards my daughter had a small snowmobile on the back patio of our "Home" , she said no toys allowed on the back patios of any kind. I said okay and got rid of it. Then if I was gone for a weekend and I had a note on Monday morning. Stating, " I need to let the office be aware if I wont be home for over 24hrs". I could go on & on about this place. But just save yourself the stress and look elsewhere. Everything that glitters isn't gold. is this case - it truly wasn't. I feel bad if people are still stuck in this terrible place that want to leave but can't. For whatever reason.

This place is a scam! The Maneger of the property is rude as can be. The rules are different for everyone. Some people can have grills some can't! Large dogs aren't allowed yet the grounds keeper gets to have a HUGE boxer! The apartments look nice at first but once you've lived in them you realize they are old and everything was just painted over. This place is ran incorrectly. I've seen everyone leave and no one move in! The parking lot is empty and it feels like an abandoned apartment complex! ...
