Questionably liveable

Yeah, so this place is genuinely terrible. My roommate and I had to go over to my parents' house whenever we wanted to shower for a couple months. Once it was fixed, the bathtub still didn't drain, and also puked up some sort of tar-like black goo. The kitchen sink also didn't drain. The dishwasher didn't drain, and leaked out the dirty water from dishes.
The person who came to reglaze the tub didn't follow safety precautions and vent the apartment at all. The chemicals used are pretty toxic, ...
and left my roommate and I with an awful cough and throat pain for two weeks, and stained the bathroom. Reporting this to the front desk didn't do anything.
Their auto-pay system for rent just stopped working every few months, and wouldn't notify me. They had me pay a late fee for it each time.

We scheduled an apartment tour May 24 at 5pm. We got a two hour reminder beforehand on the day of. We drove half an hour to the apartments. When we knocked on the leasing office no one was there. We called and texted the numbers provided and no response until the next morning. The follow morning Beth called us and apologized that no one was there then told us there was no vacancy until July. I told her that was fine because our current lease was up at the end of July but we needed to look at ...

She hesitated before offering an online tour and when I told her we were no longer interested after yesterdays lack of care she laughed and said okay. With staff like that I will make sure we never move there and that anyone who is interested know that their staff is unprofessional and rude.

Great customer service. Timely, prompt and professional. 3 minutes to freeway. Kensington metro park is across the street. Local stores/shopping 5 minutes away. For the money, a great value. The recent renovation, tastefully appointed.
Winter snow removal is prompt. They salt the night before the snow storm.
All in all, well managed.

Loved living here. Just moved out recently for work purposes, but was here just over a year. As far as dealing with the landlord and staff, Mike was a great landlord and the maintenance crew was kind and personable. Overall comfortable place to live and has a great location.

It's pretty much your standard apartment complex. Units have thin walls so you can hear everything going on in the building, inside and out. What made me hate this place was the lack of respect my surrounding neighbors had. I did my best to keep my noise down and keep to myself, but I was the only one to do so. Noise all through the night and early morning and cars running all through the day that need work. The housing construction next to the complex didn't help things. I don't smoke but ...
everyone in my building did so my unit smelled between weed and cigarette smoke on a daily basis. I was definitely not going to sign a new lease where rent was jacked up $40/mo at a place I was already overpaying. What is sad is that I've lived in sketchy areas and the people were a whole lot nicer and respectful of their neighbors. I moved here because I needed something closer to work and I was pretty desperate. I regret moving here.

I have rented from three different apartment complexes and this has been my favorite so far.
The apartment manager always replies to concerns and they fix problems within the building very quickly. I actually have never had a problem except for the laundry machine was jammed once because someone put the wrong coins in. It was fixed by the end of the day. The location is wonderful as well, it's right next to the metro park which is good for active people!

I've lived here for almost 2 years. The management leaves you alone for the most part. Just do your duty to pay rent on time, and everything will be alright. They are pretty responsive when it comes to helping with things being done around the apartment if need be, and they are currently going through a large renovation of the property which is a huge necessity since it's an older place. Not bad overall, 4/5 for location across from the metro park is a HUGE PLUS.
