WORST APARTMENT
September 16, 2020DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!! YOU WILL REGRET IT!!!! I have only lived here for a month a half and it's been the WORST. The amount of roaches in these apartments is HORRID. Roaches are everywhere!! and they are in the pantry next to all the food. This place is infested! Since the first day i moved in, on July 31st, the AC has not worked. I walked in and the temperature was at 90 degrees and it was like that for days! It has been a month and a half and the AC still hasn't been properly fixed. The ...maintenance doesn't care at all. I have put in so many work orders, and they will come, and say they will be right back, and never come back!! The electricity bill came out to $200 for the first month because of the messed up AC. The first day i moved in the carpets were still wet and smelled so bad. The gate is always open, so there really is not any safety guarantee. September 12, 2019Do NOT rent from this place. I have no hot water and my window is broken and they’ve marked my work orders as completed even though NOTHING GOT DONE. They give different excuses as to why things can’t get done and will not give you any approximations for when repairs will get done. New Management
November 21, 2018I have a 12 month lease with this property, somewhere along the way they switched management which are inconsiderate and unprofessional, I spoke to them about breaking my lease and paying my way out, even have it in writing and when I went to pay it, they were trying to charge me an additional $1200 to the amount I was already quoted!! When I showed them in writing what it was they claimed to have to reach out to their supervisor which is never there by the way, and of course never heard back ...because they of course know they’re wrong and don’t want to get additional money out of the situation. Not to mention the previous company would always give at least a week ahead of time for irregular inspection, this company only gives you 3 days! And even though your lease isn’t up yet, they’re demanding all thing look a certain standard. They do all this through text of course, when you respond you can never get a reply and if you call you can never get anyone to pick up. To get things done you must physically go to the office as if residents don’t have other things to do, and even when in office you’re left sitting there for 10 minutes because they rather sit there bickering with maintenance who are the only ones around here who get anything done. They will send threatening text messages to people that they will get fined if they do not pick up their dogs crap but will not fill in the bags for the pick up, I mean if people are getting charged monthly for the pets that’s the least they can do. Would not recommend!
September 5, 2018Maintenance is ridiculous here. They come out when they want. I had a leak all over my dining room area and my bathroom for almost a whole month. They kept assuring me it was fixed, and it would not happen again. It kept happening! Obviously don’t know what there doing. It’s easy to say that when your upset, but when an issue is ongoing and worsening for about a month that shows a lack of experience. Now my floorboards have came unglued, there is mold everywhere. To make it worse there was a leak ...in my another bedroom and my box spring was all wet. The ceiling is warping/cracked. The AC’s are always going out. Some lady named Victoria came out to take a look, and was not very helpful all she said was to file it on my renters insurance. I would not recommend this place to anyone! Talk about running away from your problems, and they are real good about trying to hang up on you when you have a complaint. Horrible place to live
September 1, 2018Do NOT move here!!! If you want to be charged 3x for water, NEVER be able to get the office on the phone, have your rent go up every month for fees that are not outlined in the lease agreement don’t move here. The apartments are over priced for what you get. There’s something breaking every month. Oh and there is a fee just to pay your rent! You are better off going to HEB and paying for them to do a money order for you. Fleas? You will have a problem every month even if you don’t have pets. By ...the way you get a few every month for pest control and I have never once in my 15 months of living here have seen them spray. Oh yes 15 month lease when I have proof what I signed was a 12 month lease they “lost the paperwork” and what was uploaded was 15 months. My copy was invalid beacaue the leasing manager didn’t sign it. Even when the “new management” took over it seems they would rather put work into fixing up their office rather than actually carrying for the residents needs. No AC for over a year, trashy, and rude/uncooperative management
April 16, 2018RUN!!!! 13 month lease: 12 months without working AC... The only reason it wasn't all 13 months is because we paid the rent for this month but moved out the month before. We finally got a new unit after writing a letter to the Corporate Office, but it still didn't work right. I told them the issue is in the apartment, not the unit but they refused to even look at the duct work. The office staff treated like us like we didn't matter, and would rush us out when we tried talking to them with ...potential renters in the office. Then, for the last month, they just decided to add 3 months worth of water, trash, and "other" charges because they wanted to be sure our final bills would be paid before the end of our lease instead of sending the bills as they came due. The District Manager did what she could, but Adara Properties is cheap and does not care about it's residents. DO NOT rent here!!! Not recommended
October 14, 2016Management charges fraudulent fees and then attempts to justify the fee as a "miscalculation" of rent or water. The water in the whole complex gets shut off multiple times per week and management does not notify residents of the shut off. The counter tops are cheap and the finishing chips off easily and they charge you $50 per countertop to repair. The bathtubs are spray painted white and the paint comes off and they charge you to repaint it.
