Sad to say goodbye.
June 25, 2024I have lived at The Fountains for 4 years and have loved every minute of it. My 2 bedrooms were large and well laid out. My 2 bathrooms were pretty large, too. The leasing staff, Patty and Russ were such a joy to work with. And when I called maintenance for an emergency, they were right on it. I deeply appreciate the staff and the wonderful way you take care of the grounds and your residents. I'm going to miss The Fountains.Property Manager Responded

The Fountains at Sun City A Friendly Place to Be
April 14, 2024My husband and I were fortunate to find a great place like The Fountains at Sun City to make our winter stay a pleasant one. It is a relaxing environment. It's a gated community and there is one way in and out which is a plus for added security. We live in the smaller of their 2-bedroom, 2-bath unit, but it is very spacious and has lots of storage. The office staff is exceptional and very accommodating. They have a friendly and inviting demeanor which makes one want to stop by just to say ...“hello”. The apartments are well maintained. The maintenance team is very polite and quickly addresses any issues necessary. The grounds are well cared for and we love seeing the green grass (since we are from the Midwest). We look forward to all of the great monthly events hosted by The Fountain staff and it is a good opportunity to meet neighbors; I was pleasantly surprised to find out how much we have in common with the neighbors. The residents we’ve met seem to be very happy with their homes here at The Fountains and the staff makes it easy for residents to feel at home. One event I must mention that save me a lot of worry is when my husband and I went on an overnight stay out of town, and I accidently drove away leaving my suitcase on the sidewalk at The Fountains. Patty, Diana and Russ worked together as a team to find out who the suitcase belonged to and reached out to me to let me know it was safe. I never realized I didn’t have my suitcase until I received the call from Diana that Patty had spotted my suitcase on the sidewalk and Russ retrieved it. We had just arrived at our destination when Diana called, and I looked in the back seat and sure enough there was no suitcase. If I had not gotten that call from the office, I would have worried all night as to what had happened to my suitcase and how did it just disappear out of our car, LOL. It would have never crossed my mind that I had left it behind. Since it was close to closing time for the office staff they could have waited until the next day to contact me, but they didn’t. I want to thank the entire staff for going above and beyond to solve the “suitcase mystery”.Property Manager Responded

Nice place but not a nice Manager!

The Place at The Fountains, Sun City Arizona
August 11, 2015"The Fountains" is an Age 55 Rental community. My wife and I have lived here in our 2-bath, 2-bedroom apartment going on 8 years - and we love it. Our Garden location (below street level) in the "elevator building" is nestled into the side of a hill, which provides a buffer for the noise of the nearby train tracks and the traffic on Grand Avenue. Since we are on the bottom level with 3 floors above us, even the F16 training jets from Luke Air Force Base are muffled as they roar overhead, and ...their noise never lasts more than 10 seconds. (After all, our country needs to be protected!) So, by and large, our apartment is peaceful, secluded and quiet. We are also delighted by the service we receive from the office and maintenance staff. Everyone knows us personally, responds immediately to our slightest request,and is friendly, caring and professional. We know we can count on their help in any situation. We hope to remain here indefinitely. Although this is NOT an extended care facility (being billed as a residence for "active seniors"), half the residents, my wife included, use wheelchairs or electric scooters. In our building, the elevators and ramps provide easy access. There is also a community van which takes residents on shopping trips and group entertainment outings. You should be advised that there is an asphalt plant in the nearby city of Surprise, which on occasion causes a nasty smell in the morning air. But keeping the windows closed and the A/C on will keep the smell out of your apartment.Property Manager Responded

Seniors having fun.
July 22, 2015These apartments are senior apartments. It's a gated community with activities happening almost every day. There's a pool & workout room. The maintance is great. The buildings are well cared for. Now for the down side. There are no security doors which should be in a senior community. The parking is not the greatest for all people. Everyone is assigned a covered spot even if they don't have a car. So even tho there are several spots directly in front of my building that aren't being used, my ...spot is across the lot & down from my unit. If you are a senior & looking for a nice place to live, come join us.Property Manager Responded
