Disappointing experience with the staff and management team

I had a very disappointing experience with the staff and management team at this property. During my lease transfer process, I specifically contacted the leasing office to understand the requirements before proceeding. I was informed that a lease transfer only required a 1-month (30-day) notice, so I followed those instructions and initiated my transfer accordingly. Later, I was unexpectedly charged additional rent because I was told a different notice requirement applied. When I explained that ...
I had relied on the information provided by the leasing office, management refused to acknowledge the miscommunication or take any responsibility. I also referred a friend to this community. The leasing office was aware that she was my referral, but we were never informed that referral information had to be provided during the application process. As a result, the referral bonus was denied, even though the referral was genuine and known to the leasing office before the lease was finalized. Management declined to review the situation or offer any resolution. What disappointed me most was not the policies themselves, but the lack of accountability. If residents are expected to follow procedures, those procedures should be be communicated clearly and consistently. Residents should not have to bear the financial consequences of incorrect or incomplete information provided by the leasing office. The property itself may be nice, but management and communication are a significant part of the living experience. Unfortunately, my experience left me feeling that customer concerns are dismissed rather than fairly reviewed. I hope management improves its communication and takes greater responsibility when mistakes occur so that future residents do not have similar experiences.

My experience living at La Vallita has been very positive. The community is well maintained, the environment is clean and peaceful, and the management team is responsive and helpful whenever issues arise. Maintenance requests are handled in a timely manner, and the staff is courteous and professional. Overall, La Vallita provides a comfortable and pleasant living experience, and I am satisfied with my residency here
