2 years in & loving it
March 23, 2026I moved into the LaSalle Apts just under 2 years ago & I've loved every minute of living here. And it's gotten even better over the last year (a newly added "Take a book/Leave a book" in the lobby being an awesome addition!). Everyone in the office is always so helpful & so friendly. Add to that an amazing maintenance crew, a rooftop deck & being in the heart of downtown inside a historic building (Toledo's LaSalle Department store of "long ago") and it makes for an absolutely perfect place to ...call home.Property Manager Responded

April 26, 2024Don't move here RUN there are No Amenities here. You are made to pay for lights in the hallway along with your own water, garbage, and whatever else they can come up with. The floors Smell so bad, I have never seen the supposed security guard that should be here. Cars stolen and broken into.Property Manager Responded

False advertising on website
April 30, 2020Terrible customer service and false advertising on website, I called the apartment complex to clarify the application fee and holding fee and I was assured that I wouldn't get the application fee of $35 back but if I didn't get the apartment I would get the $100 holding fee back. Then some things change, I end up going with a different apartment (thank God) and I email LaSalle to let them know that I won't be persuing their apartment anymore and asked about getting my $100 back. Then they tell me ...unfortunately you have to cancel your application to be eligible for that! They never told me that when I called and asked about it on the phone! This place is shady let me tell you, plus it's in downtown Toledo you won't be missing much by taking your business elsewhere.Property Manager Responded

Great location & unique spaces
August 6, 2015I've lived at the Lasalle Apartments for several years now (July 2012) and am not from Toledo originally. New management took over in the past year, resulting in several improvements from the previous owners: new laundry facilities including a credit card reader, improvements of the structure of the underground parking facilities, prompt and polite maintenance staff, and friendly front office staff. There are still some complaints, including a much-needed complete overhaul of the gym facilities ...(though the new owners have fixed many of the machines in the gym since taking over) and the outside parking lot is laid out in a way that will pretty much force you to purchase an underground parking spot ($45/month extra). Still, I walk to work and can enjoy my neighborhood without needing to drive, which has been a nice change of pace from the past. No review of the Lasalle Apartments should be without mention of the awesome roof top access and the vaulted ceilings. The rooms themselves are quintessential loft-style apartments, with plenty of space for a couple to live in a one-bedroom. If you work in Downtown Toledo, you should absolutely consider the Lasalle Apartments. I don't think you'll be disappointed.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
