Impolite Management Team Ignores Safety of Tenants
June 3, 2025Ice queens management team in the office are dishonest and pull their own community rules out of their posteriors. HUGE wasp and ant problem on property as well as many other safety concerns which go unaddressed and ignored. Charge for pest control but what's provided not sufficient for property. Tenants are not treated equally and only looked at as dollar signs. Also, many building walls are FILTHY if they don't happen to face parking areas, and property fence should have been replaced years ...ago. Also worth saying again how dishonest the management team is. Maintenance team is helpful just understaffed apparently. Do yourself a favor and live somewhere else.Property Manager Responded

We understand your frustrations regarding pest control and property upkeep. While we do provide regular pest control services, we acknowledge that more persistent issues like wasps or ants may require additional attention, especially living in Florida. We encourage residents to report any ongoing concerns so we can address them promptly through our service partners. We want to reassure you that we do take property upkeep seriously and are consistently working to maintain a clean and safe environment for our residents. Recent efforts include power washing at each building, maintaining the grounds daily, and providing weekly pest control and lawn care services. Our pool is cleaned regularly to ensure it remains a safe and enjoyable space, and we’ve also recently added speed bumps to improve traffic safety within the ...community. While we recognize there’s always room for improvement, we are committed to maintaining the property and addressing concerns as they arise. Regarding concerns about fairness and communication, we are genuinely disappointed that you feel our management team has not been transparent or equitable. Our goal is always to create a respectful and supportive community for all residents. We understand how important trust is, and we welcome the opportunity to have a direct conversation with you to hear more about your experience and see how we can improve. Horrible Experience
March 11, 2024We walked in to our newly rented apartment to love and dead cockroaches EVERYWHERE, on floors and in cabinets, all kitchen cabinet doors were open. By the condition this apartment was released to us, it’s apparent no due diligence was completed before hand. The apartment had a horrible odor, there was grease everywhere, including on the ceiling above the stove. I spent an entire day cleaning you can see the grease (ON TOP OF THE CABINETS AND ON THE CEILING). The stove top was scratched and ...cracked. There was a pink stain in the kitchen granite. A hole in the door to the pantry. There were cigarette burns in the vinyl flooring. Stained carpet in both the spare bedrooms, frayed carpet in the primary. There was visual paint on the vinyl flooring. The cabinets had black marks / streaks. The wall near the kitchen needed paint. The patio had crayon and marker all over the floors and walls. This is just what I photographed. This and much more, was noted in our move in condition report. While they were seemingly apologetic, it didn’t seem they (office staff) cared we received the apartment in this condition. Maintenance was responsive and did try to fix some of the issues after we moved in, some were not fixed. We moved out recently and received a charge for carpet replacement. We regularly used one bedroom, the primary, and only ever had water in that room. The other two rooms were a storage and a guest room, which was set up but not used due to our short term there. Rooms were always kept with their doors shut. When we asked for photos of the carpet, we were sent photos of the underneath as it was ripped out. So apparently you need to rip up the carpet to see possible stains so you can add to the move in condition form. Most likely, the carpet issue was caused by the previous tenants and was not noticed by Lakeland Grand staff, as none of the other issues noted above were. Multiple emails have gone unanswered since the one reply with the photos of the base of the carpet as it was pulled. We requested the staff to review the move in condition report, and nothing. We sent photos of the largest stain but they claim they weren’t there before we moved in. I have date stamps when those photos were taken.
