Very Disappointing Management

My experience with Lakes at Lincoln has been extremely frustrating\. Communication from Scotti and management has been inconsistent regarding my lease, rent, rental ledger, renewal, and transfer\. I was told my transfer was denied because I didn’t sign the lease, but I have a copy showing that I did sign it\. I have also spent hours waiting at the office just to get basic answers from Scotti and management\. Residents should not have to repeatedly chase management for clear information about ...

None of the amenities work

I would not recommend living at Lakes at Lincoln Apartments. We have lived here for almost two years, and the experience has been beyond frustrating. The biggest issue is the complete lack of access to amenities that we are paying for. Not once in the entire time we’ve lived here have either of the pools been open or usable. This has been an ongoing issue since the day we moved in, yet there has been no communication, no real resolution, and absolutely no compensation or rent credit for ...
something that is clearly advertised as part of the community. The laundry facilities are just as bad. In one of the laundry rooms, there are around 8–10 dryers, but typically only 2 actually work. The rest are constantly “out of order” or shut down for maintenance, making it incredibly inconvenient for residents who rely on them. These problems have been consistent for nearly two years with little to no improvement. Management continues to collect full rent while failing to provide basic amenities and services. If you’re considering moving here, I would strongly suggest looking elsewhere. It’s not worth paying for things you’ll never actually be able to use!

Terrible management. Will take a month’s worth of maintenance requests to get your AC fixed in 80+ degree weather and over two months to get anything pest related scheduled for your unit. Office does not communicate with residents. You either have to go in person or call all day to find out anything/get anything done

moved in sept. 11th 2024 A/C hasn't worked since I've been here, over a month but don't need it now it's October. Window screen bedroom busted took 2 weeks to fix! A lot of rain since I moved in... laundry room area off kitchen water seeps in thru floor must be foundation issues. Put in numerous work order request nothing done. guess I should have realized because when trying to move here the lack of communication was horrible. property management team not very helpful... Changed my apartment # 3 times in a month the last one coming the day before I was to move in and was half way there. I had no other recourse but to move in and try to make things work which, I did but around every corner a new issue with no support from staff on the ground. Neighbor women moving out when I moved in told me that I'm like the 4th person in 4 years to have moved into this apartment... Wish I could start over I wouldn't have moved here, nor recommend it to anyone. DON'T MOVE HERE !!!

Love my apartment now that I’m FINALLY in it. The process was RIDICULOUS and it seemed the office staff had absolutely no idea what was going on the entire time. We moved out of state and were told our place would be ready Friday, when we drove over 8 hours here and got to the office they told us they recommend going to get breakfast because they weren’t ready. 4 hours later and we finally had keys to the apartment. I just moved in March 1st and I have been without A/C since March 31st we are now at 3 weeks and counting as of today 4/18. There is no urgency nor an apologetic demeanor from the staff in the office. I’ve only been here for almost 2 months and it’s already a hassle just to get something working that should be working. downplay or act as if you are in the wrong for asking and being concerned. Also I’m not the only renter with this problem it’s 6 other tenants and possibly more. Please do not rent here I’m not the type of person to complain but I’ve never experienced anything like this when it comes to maintenance and staff at an apartment complex. Not to mention I had to send the same renters insurance information 3 times and they tried to charge me for it the first months rent but they fixed it once I notified them even though I sent it 3 times. Literally everything in my apartment was broke when I moved in. The place was wired wrong to where you could only have 1 thing plugged in the living room. The balcony door was broke. The bathroom floor was warped. Later on the only light cover shattered randomly. Lastly the dishwashers been broke for a month and no one will fix it. There were some hiccups with my move in and some water and sewer issues in the beginning, but the issues were dealt with immediately EVERYTIME.
