August 13, 2024I love living at lakes of Windsor!! The office staff is amazing they are always so friendly and kind! They always make me feel heard if I have questions or need to make a work request! The maintenance are so quick with responding and I can’t say enough good things about living here! The lakes are gorgeous and they keep the property looking pristine! BEST PLACE TO CALL HOME
August 13, 2024I have been here for about 4 years. The staff is amazing. The ladies in the office are always very helpful and the maintenance staff is quick and professional. The community is a safe and friendly environment with a lot of cool features I.e. the gym, pool, dog park, car wash, basketball court etc and obviously the food trucks!Property Manager Responded

Great apartment!
February 12, 2021My husband and I have been living here for almost a year now. We did lots of research on apartments in the area, and Lakes of Windsor had the best prices, quality, and reviews from what we could tell. Since living here, we've loved our apartment and our experiences with the management/maintenance teams. It feels very safe here, and we like our neighbors as well. It's definitely a family-friendly neighborhood, and they just built a dog park in the neighborhood, which is really cool. We plan on ...living here for a while.Property Manager Responded

Great Service!
November 4, 2020I have lived in the Lakes of Windsor 3 years and always had excellent service! They office staff is so sweet and maintenance seems to fix any issues the same day for the most part. They just put in a dog park which I am LOVING- so is my fur-baby. Oh, and my apartment is so cute- I get lots of sun and landscaping is superb!Property Manager Responded

March 7, 2019I am so sorry you feel you have had a bad experience at our community. We do have a compactor for trash instead of dumpsters throughout the property. The compactor keeps the trash on the property to a minimum and is less unsightly than having trash dumpsters throughout the property. At this time, after your first year we do offer a variety of leases anywhere from month to month to a full year. We do try to accommodate our residents and understand that many people are living in apartments for Flexibility. If you have any other concerns please feel free to contact the office and we will try to help!

Management/Staff are RUDE! Its not worth the price. Over valued apartment community.
December 28, 2017Worst experience at this place. Management and staff are rude. They don't know how to behave with people. I wish would have skipped this place. Stayed here for 2 years. It is over valued. They do not care their tenants. It used to be the best rental property on the South side. As mentioned in the other reviews, The #1 problem is the current management. Not everyone writes a review. Almost everyone might have some kind of bad experience with them. They just take care of Maintenance service ...requests ONLY when there is MORTGAGE inspection at the property. Probably they manage some how with them, don't know.Property Manager Responded

A Property in Rapid Decline
November 29, 2017There was a time when The Lakes of Windsor was maybe the best rental property on the South side. Sadly, those days are long gone. The #1 problem is the current management. Long-time residents have begun to band together to contact the property ownership to force a change. They treat residents, who are paying the highest rent on the South side, like trash. You say you want to be treated with respect? Want someone to appreciate that you chose their property to call home? LOOK ELSEWHERE. ...You will NOT find it at Lakes of Windsor. July 19, 2017Worst experience of my entire life. Management and staff is a complete joke. They love acting like anything you need is bothering them. Maintainence used to loudly complain about any work they were doing while in my apartment. September 17, 2015We just signed our lease for the 5th year in July. It's so quiet and peaceful. The staff is wonderful. Great maintenance staff. It's right close to one of the major hospitals, stores,etc. And also easy access to the highway! Wouldn't want to live anywhere else...... Oh, and the neighbors are great! August 8, 2015Before I moved here, I spent six months researching places in the Indianapolis area. I really took my time reading reviews on all of the sites. This place kept coming up to the top of my list. I also saw that they received the top rated award in 2014. That got my curiosity, so I decided to visit. I took a tour of the place and one of the office folks said she lived there, too. I believe it. It's beautiful here. I signed on the spot. I am so glad I moved here. Peaceful, clean, well kept ...apartments. Maintenance is so courteous and responsive. Office staff is super helpful. They send emails from time to time reminding folks to not suffer in silence if there are any issues. Feel kind of pampered, actually. I love how peaceful the area is. They keep the pool open for as long as it is hot, so it could stay open long past Labor Day. How do I prove to anyone reading this that I am a real tenant? I would love to do so - please ask! I really love it here; and the folks from the owners to the maintenance team to the office team, all seriously deserve a ton of praise for their kindness, caring and attention to detail.
