How come its 4+ rated? One Year at Lakeside121 – Disappointing and Stressful -
July 13, 2025Poor maintenance, zero urgency, unsafe conditions, and a leasing office that disappears when it matters. I wouldn’t recommend Lakeside121 to anyone. Don’t be fooled by the one-month free move-in deal. Once you sign, you’re locked into a 12-month lease with no way out unless you pay the remaining months.—and leasing agent never mention this upfront. Maintenance is slow and unresponsive. It took over five months to resolve basic issues. For most of my stay, I dealt with a faulty stove, broken ...dishwasher, and leaks. Water entered my unit twice, and a restroom roof leak was never fixed despite repeated complaints. Emergency support? Non-existent. During repeated fire alarm malfunctions in Building 3, the emergency number went unanswered—we had to call 911 ourselves. The leasing office never responded after-hours. I also had to deal with pests—roaches at first, then multiple lizards darting inside every time I opened the door. The response? "Keep your windows and doors shut." Best Decision I made...
October 15, 2024I have been living at Lakeside 121 for 9 months, and it has been an incredible experience. The community is beautifully maintained, dog wash for my dog, and it even has a car wash! The ladies are always responsive and so kind since day 1. The location is perfect, I'm able to jump on 121 to go to work easily. Great living at its finest
September 20, 2021Where do I start is the question, it's do many great amenities to choose from you just can't name them all in one sitting. To sum this up, I'd start with the management and staffing. It's not one day that I've came into the office and didn't feel welcomed and at home. Ms. Debbie is the best and the first person to greet me every time, Ms. Victoria has always went above and beyond for what services I needed including prayed for my home personally. I thank everyone for the upkeep of the property ...and making my transition into moving at ease. Beautiful community!!
December 18, 2020Moved to this apartment back in 2019. We loved this community so we extended the lease for 2020 as well. The leasing process was very smooth and Debbie was so kind in explaining all the amenities and options available for renting. The community has lot of great facilies like gym, car wash, laundry and dryer, swimming pool. The leasing office is very luxurious and has billiards and printing facilities. The management is very kind to the residents and the maintenance work orders are handled within ...a day. Definitely recommend this community to have a peaceful living. Proximity to where I work is convenient, safety is not a concern, and we are really close to lake lewisville so going for a jog to see a little nature so close is a huge plus. December 18, 2020Moved to this Community almost 2 years back. The community is serving as best as it can for the residents and makes the best effort to keep the ambience so vibrant. The community has very good gym, a well maintained pool, washer and dryer facilities and very big car wash with vacuum. I’ve lived here for 10+ years
December 16, 2020I have lived at Lakeside at 121 for over 10 years. The property management has changed a couple of times, but has been steady for awhile now and are the best yet! Debbie, the manager, is so approachable and helpful. I have come to depend on the management and maintenance many times. Not because I need things fixed, but because I travel for long periods at one time and they take care of odds and ends for me here and there when something comes up out of the blue.
