Not what it used to be
June 25, 2026 - Review from Apartments.comWhen I first moved here it was great. The office staff and property was great, however as the time has went by the property has became ugly, unkept, and just a horrible site to see. I used to be able to sit outside in the grass and read a book. Now I can’t even go outside with out the bugs attacking me due to the poor maintenance of the landscape. Maintenance responds promptly yes, however they half a** fix everything with a bandaid. I’ve requested minor fixes in my unit that were promised to be ...fixed when first moved in by office, now they claim it’s nothing they can do about it. I’m sure they’ll try to charge me for it upon move out but was documented on lease paperwork. The guys in the office seem nice but don’t seem to know much about the property itself which is pointless. The common areas are always full of dog poop. There’s never any gas in the bbq grills despite asking numerous times for some, you can’t use your own grill unless in the common area of dog poop, on top of people just putting charcoal in the gas grills. The trash is never picked up when we pay for valet trash. They threaten to fine you for anything about the trash but never do since people leave trash in hall way for 4days at a time leaving the hallways smelling of trash. Makes me not want to even walk out my door or walk with a mask on. The office will threaten to charge you a fee to bring a notice to door on top of the violation the notice is for. Very rare you can get ahold of any one in the office. And when you do the manager just says “use the app and request maintenance “. Parking is iffy especially for guests, it is a fee to register a guest vehicle per day. The property used to be a beautiful place to stay. Now not so much. Not terrible but not great either
June 15, 2026 - Review from Apartments.comMy partner and I signed a 14 month lease and are halfway through it. to start with the positives, the staff are very responsive and maintenance is fast. I enjoy the community space where the printer always works and they have a small market up front if you want a snack but don't want to go to the store. I also enjoy how quiet the community is and have never had an issue with parking in the garage or on the street. However, with the good always comes the bad. When we first moved in the property ...was GORGEOUS! Scenic views of the water, grass trimmed, sunset views over the lake. We live on the west side of the property in building 2, as our time here has progressed the property seems to have gone downhill. We are no longer able to view the lake from our patio because the trees and foliage have been severely overgrown. This lead to bugs being an issue by our unit, and outside of the building as well close to the pool. there are wasp nests in the door ways to enter the building and tree inside the pool area. To mention the pool, the only one that is consistently cleaned is the larger one closer to the leasing center. The one by us in building 2 is not cleaned regularly. My biggest issue about this property is the trash service. We pay almost $40/month for valet trash service which half of the time we are not receiving. I have had to contact the office many times about my trash not being picked up by the company even though we follow all of the guidelines every night. We have been told to trash the trash pick up and request them to come back on some phone app, but residents should not have to monitor their trash pickup. I know that this is hardly the community's fault as they probably outsource this service, but if the service is not going to provided consistently then residents should not be charged almost $40 for it. There should definitely be an option to opt out of the valet trash service if we are not getting it. I don’t understand why the tenants, some of us, have to constantly ask management to have the property cleaned, should they not be doing a walk around at least once a week or every two weeks to check on that. I don’t understanding how they can close the eyes to this, es if you live there, which a few of them do. Went it rains the walkway by the lake gets extremely muddy all around, do you think the get anyone to ...clean it up, absolutely not. You have to inconvenience yourself and walk on the wet grass. The ground on every floor stays dirty and filthy. Absolutely nothing Luxurious about this place anymore more. My first year was the best and only and that was six years ago. horrible management and experience
August 11, 2024 - Review from Apartments.comI've had the misfortune of living here for nearly a year. I signed a 15 month lease after a tour that seemed decent, and was excited. I finally moved in and my unit had broken glass in it, and all of the ethernet outlets did not work. I had to ask management to fix this for about a month before anyone did anything. They were trying to tell me that I had to pay a contractor to do it myself because they were not responsible for the outlets in the unit actually working, and nobody on their ...maintenance team could do it. Before long, someone moved in above me and I got to experience the result of the investment company who made this place thinking insulation is just a needless expense. You will hear every footstep the person above you makes. If they blast music, you will hear it. If you complain to management they will do literally nothing. They say that these noise levels (which i have recorded in excess of 95db) are to be expected, and they won't address them during business hours. If you call after hours, when they say they enforce quiet hours, nobody picks up and they don't act on it, even if you have recordings of the noise. If you are lucky enough to not have a noisy neighbor, you will have to deal with the fire alarms going off on average 2-6 times a month, depending on the month. If noise is not an issue for you, the hallways always smell like rotting garbage because people leave trash out every day, even when there is not valet pickup.Read MoreProperty Manager Responded

False Fire Alarms!!!

The false fire alarms go off way too often, usually around 4 AM, leaving everyone frustrated and exhausted. And it's not just a one-time thing – it's happened multiple times in less than a year. Dealing with pests is another huge headache. Roaches seem to be everywhere, not just in my unit but in every corner of the building, as other residents have also complained. And spotting a rat in the hallway just adds to the ...stress. Despite the high rent, the management's attitude is incredibly disappointing. November 4, 2022 - Review from Apartments.comI liked this place initially and wanted to like this place. Its close proximity to the graduate school I attend, 2 major highways, and views. All the rooms are hardwired for internet. Monthly pest control, food trucks on the weekend, 3 pools. Unfortunately the actual resident community is trash. The walls are thin, trash keeps being left outside some doors, if the trash chute is full then people just throw their trash into the chute room and leave it literally piling up and making the garage ...start to stink. The indoor hallways that are not on the 1st floor are unsealed/uncoated concrete that usually smells of pet urine or trash. Because it's rough concrete the poor cleaning lady can't do much with her mop. It just adds fabuloso scent to the mix. There is no security measures at all inside the parking garage. Some residents always leave the "secure" entrance doors propped open allowing randoms to enter. There are no security cameras in the mailroom, garage, entrance areas. sometime on the evening of my birthday (Nov 1) someone smashed a window into my vehicle to rummage around. I would not be surprised if it were an actual resident that committed it. a lot of other reviews will mention that the fire alarms will go off at least 3 times a month at the most inconvenient, either due to someone pulling them or an "unknown malfunction". This is true. The packages you order off amazon... Though this may not be immediately the building's fault, but be ready to have your amazon packages left in the open on the floor in the mailroom (which the door is unlocked to the public from 8a-8p). some delivery drivers are too lazy to navigate the 2 huge buildings that they have dumped resident packages right on the floor. The lakeside lofts buildings does not have a secure amazon locker like the other resident complexes on our street. If they do deliver it to your door, be prepared for the small chance that someone will steal your package right off your doormat. (I installed a ring doorbell camera after this happened twice in a month right after I moved in around December 2021) The walls of the bedrooms are not sound insulated and you can hear your neighbors conversations (or other "activities") clearly. Our new neighbors like to have screaming and slapping matches which is lovely. We're pretty close to calling FBPD to report domestic abuse since it sounds like it sometimes.Read More
