      I received a job promotion to move to Nebraska and had 2 weeks to find a location. I made one phone call to Alecia and team and within 15 minutes all of my anxiety and concerns were handled, they had exactly what I needed in short notice with zero complications. We drove 14 hours in , signed the lease acquired the keys, and here we are.       The staff and maintenance have been super responsive, and over the top friendly. I did ALL my paperwork signing and setting up 11 hours away over the phone. The day I got here my apartment was ready as scheduled. Very pleased!!

      I absolutely love lakeside village apartment! The staff is so friendly and willing to answer any of my questions!! It’s also not too far from UNL city campus!! Great place!

      Pretty cool place! Close to I-80!

      Lived here for about 5 years so far and really like it! I commute to Omaha and being close to I-80 is very convenient! Molly and Donna are always very helpful and kind when I come in to pay rent or pick up a package! The last few summers they had a doggy pool party and we thought that was pretty great! Every once in a blue moon it may get a little noisy with the amount of college students that live here but if that is the worst of our worries in an apartment complex we are pretty lucky!

      The apartment itself was great and in a good location. The windows do a great job blocking out sound from the interstate and we only had a few negative experiences with other residents. Good place if you have pets. However, there is NO AIRCONDITIONING. Yes there is a unit for air conditioning, but it does not provide adequate circulation. The unit is too small to use in such a large apartment space, no matter how low you put it, it does not cool down the apartment. There’s also a limit to how ...
      cold you can set the temperature to until the unit freezes, and then you don’t have air conditioning at all while they’re fixing it. It’s a lose lose situation. Without any ceiling fans in the rooms either, nights are horrible in the summer. Upon the end of your lease, you’re charged a RIDICULOUS amount of fees! $32 to change lightbulbs? There was no warning that if we didn’t change every lightbulb that we would be charged. We cleaned the apartment before we left and there was still a charge on our account. You’re also required to pay for painting the apartment for the next resident so that was another $200 in fees. DISCLOSE THE AMOUNT OF FEES FOR RESIDENTS. At the end of our lease we were charged over $450 in fees due to carpet cleaning, repainting the walls, changing lightbulbs (even though when we came in there were already bulbs burnt out), and “our apartment not being in a clean state.” We’re paying half of our rent in fees after we vacate!

      The management has no idea what they were doing and they are very inconsistent with what they tell me. Originally, they told me the pet fee was 250 and a 75 dollar pet deposit. When we went to go pay it, it turns out that the pet fee and pet deposit is per pet and they do not tell you this. When we moved in the carpets were all bubbled up and many light bulbs were burnt out. The AC was also not working. There were birds nests all over the deck and the first couple of days we kept finding the same ...
      kind of spiders in the apartment. Very dirty place and they keep information from the tenants. Had issues getting maintenance to come out to fix things. Do not recommend.

      I usually do not write reviews but, I have had some pleasant encounters with the office staff they are very friendly when ever I go in there. They usually will let me know when I have a package which is very nice. I love my apartment it's very spacious and modern looking. The location is very close to my work. I would recommend Lakeside Village to my friends and family.
