Live there if you want to go bankrupt
November 18, 2023I'll tell you guys the story how this leasing office will charge me more than $15,000 and will put me to the collection. The contract is joint leasing, which means no matter what the other roommate does, you will have responsibility for it. There was a roommate subleased and just disappeared, and he didn't pay anything in the next few months. I went to the office multiple times and asked them to at least take some actions, but the office just told me and the other roommate to cover his part, ...literally did nothing, no email no call. So if you did not know your roommate well or your roommate will give sublease for his/her leasing, it could be extremely risky for your financial situation. I had to move out there in September for the safety of my life because the other roommate was reported for his dog without any vaccine by the animal control. I emailed it to the office that two animal control officers came and gave him a ticket and I felt it's unsafe for me to live there with an unvaccinated dog in the living room. However, the office just neglected the email, no any response. I cleaned my room and told the office that I moved out and they didn't reply me until I sent them multiple emails. Later there was only one person living in the apartment and he left everything (furniture and properties) in the apartment with many damages made by him and his dog, and disappeared too. Now the office charged me all the remaining money of the leasing with the damage and cleaning fees from the other roommate, which is over $15,000. Since the other two roommates disappeared, neither me and the office could contact them, I was the only person who replied their notice of collection agency, and they kept asking me to pay the balance to avoid it. I would say all the things could be avoided if they did take any action, but they were just waiting to set you to the collection to pursue you pay more and bankrupt!!Read MoreReview from Apartments.com

May 17, 2022It is dirty and they try to hide it. Maintenance will never fix anything and will just being on stuff till it works and breaks the next day again. The office is also terrible unorganized.save your self the pain.Review from Apartments.com
Do not rent here
July 11, 2019This apartment complex is not a good place to live. Maintaince has just walked in our apartment at 3 am after ignoring serious issues during the day. I was robbed in the parking lot. If you have roommates you can not individually online despite having to pay $37 a month for a “roommate fee”. Be sure you read your contract and hold them to it because they will not abide by it.Review from Apartments.com

Perfect Apartment for College Students

November 25, 2013Honestly, the office workers are there to help and actually care about you. They are not out to get you like they are at The Pointe. Most problems, if any, are fixed that day. The complex is beautiful and the distance from the bus stop is 5 minutes walking. The rooms are big and the apartments and everything included is beautiful. Great apartment complex!
November 7, 2013I'm in my last semester of college and absolutely love it here. I live in a 3x3 and each room is spacious, as well as the living room. Getting mail is convenient, the gym is 24/7, nice pool and usually no problem with parking, although guest parking is limited. The only downside would be that there's noise at the pool a lot late at night and there are A LOT of bugs. Get your place sprayed ASAP. Best place near USF
November 7, 2013Lakeview Oaks is the best college apartments near USF. The price is awesome compaired to other non-furnished apartments plus they are the only apartment complex that has NO BREED RESTICTIONS!! I have a GS and was so excited that I found a place that would let me have her. Plus they have an awesome dog park right by the lake that is beautiful and great to run your dogs in. The staff and residents here are all so friendly and young which is perfect for college living. Everything is kept looking ...fresh and clean; they are currently repainting all the buildings and it looks great! There is a 24 hr gym that is nice to use when you are to lazy to drive the 1.5 miles to the USF gym. The pool area is very nice witha hot tube, grill, and refridgerators to keep drinks in.
