I love Lakewood!
February 26, 2025I just want to say how much I love living at Lakewood Apartments! I've lived many places and the value, location and staff are the best. If you're looking for a place in the Greater New Haven area, take a look at an apt. here. It's by the Playright, little shops and the post office and libray are on the nrxt block. It's along a lake with nice walking trails at a park up the street. And the property manager Joanna and maintenance staff are great here. April 25, 2024I've been living in Lakewood Apartment in Hamden for almost a year now, and I'm truly grateful for it. From the management team to every staff member, everyone here is dedicated. Whenever I've had any issues and reported them, they've been taken seriously and addressed promptly. One day ,when my bathroom sink was blocked, I reached out to Jeff, and he quickly came to fix it. Today, Alex and Jeff helped me fix my bathroom floor, and watching sweat was all over Alex face and Jeff work tirelessly. ...I was deeply moved. I not only appreciate their excellent repair work but also their management of safety, parking, and cleanliness. Love Lakewood
February 29, 2024I've been living at Lakewood for almost three years now and I absolutely love it! The apartments are spacious, have amazing natural light, and great views of either Whitney Ave or the Lake. The area is so walkable, with a small garden with benches right across the street, as well as local favorites like Soup/Scoop girl, the Playwright, and Whitneyville Market. With Books and Company and Whitneyville Cultural Commons down the road there is always something to do. Maintenance is prompt and ...helpful, and packages are behind the locked main doors so I haven't experienced any issues with theft. Happy so far
January 20, 2022I've lived here for three years and I've been pretty happy. There's a lot of noise from Whitney Avenue, but otherwise the property is quiet. Maintenance is quick to respond to requests. It's right on the bus line, and there's an urgent care clinic, a library, a post office, a grocery store, a wine shop, and a book/coffee shop all within a block or two.Property Manager Responded
