I recently moved into my apartment here at Lakewood, and I could not be more pleased. I worked with Suzanna for months in order to get my perfect apartment, with all of the updates and and must-haves I was looking for. Even coming to do my first visit I could tell there as a more personal experience to process. I look forward to staying here with my cat, who loves looking out at the dog park on site!

I have been living in Lakewood Apartments for two years. I planned to move to an apartment closer to school but decided not to. The reasons were 1) location - it is away from the heavy traffic and noise near the local university, the Haslett and Okemos area is much quieter and more peaceful, also the Okemos versions of big-chain grocery stores, etc., are much better than Lansing. 2) the people working at Lakewood Apartments are very helpful - Suzanna and Jazmyn are responsive to my questions and ...
accommodate. 3) maintenance requests are resolved quickly and promptly; Steven and Andy do a nice job - they find the root of the maintenance problem, and those issues don't arise again (but regardless, they do inspections to ensure the apartments are in good condition). The staff are nice and great; they don't make me feel like another tenant, but a resident.

I have lived at Lakewood for a year, and I love it here. This is the best apartment place I've lived because of the apartment management team (office and maintenance teams). Jazmyn and Suzanna really care about the community, they're responsive to questions, very communicative, go above and beyond to help or find answers. They were so welcoming when I moved in and helped me navigate everything I needed to get set up in my apartment. I've had a lot of maintenance requests (as is normal for ...
apartments), and the maintenance team is extremely responsive, friendly and make your fixes feel like their top priority. I've felt very safe and cared for here. This apartment is in a fabulous location, close to the local parks and it feels like you're out in the middle of nature while still close to all the amenities of a big city. Also, this apartment complex is dog-friendly, with a great yard for my dog to play in.

The management is extremely friendly and works hard to continue to improve Lakewood apartments. They are very hard workers and I’m really glad to be somewhere that the people actually care. I love living at Lakewood apartments. It's a quiet complex, lots of greenery. The dog park is excellent, and they are completely dog friendly. The bordering neighborhoods are perfect for short or longer walks with your dog, and the trails at Lake Lansing North are only 5 minutes away. Suzanna, the property manager, was always prompt in replying and always friendly and helpful. The few non-urgent maintenance requests I've put in were taken care of the next day, so I have absolutely no complaints ...
there. It's close to all important shopping (ALDI, walmart, Kroger, Target, meijer and the Meridian mall), and just a 15 minute drive to MSU. The only thing that is sometimes annoying, I would take away maybe half a star, is the train that runs by behind the complex. The train itself is not bad since they crawl along, but the horn honking can be annoying sometimes, but even that you get used to. Overall, I'd definitely recommend Lakewood apartments.

I have lived in Lakewood for 1 year and I loved living at Lakewood apartments! The management is excellent, the pool is quiet and relaxing, and maintenance is always fast and helpful. It’s very great community and safe to stay.

Such a quiet, well kept community. Tons of activities that the staff puts on throughout the year! Nice pool and super close to Lake Lansing. Staff is super friendly and staff is prompt to repair anything!

I’ve lived here for about 3 years and this is the best complex I’ve ever stayed at. You will feel extra safe with the secured door where you buzz guests in and can use the speaker to talk to the outside. They have a hub for packages and even before that this place I never had an issue with anyone messing with mail or others actually put it inside for you. And the STAFF is AMAZING! They will make sure you feel comfortable and immediately tackle any issues if you need maintenance or have any ...
questions. They are extremely friendly and even have monthly activities ! I had won a Harry Potter prize after they had done a live quiz on their Facebook. During quarantine they even had some food vendors deliver to our door and for those who needed extra help Maintenace was available. Maintenance is the best maintenance they are friendly they make sure they get the job done correctly and are very thorough. And they also go above and beyond for the tenants and are very friendly. I love this place and will definitely be staying for a while. They are so friendly and helpful you will know you’re in good hands at Lakewood apartments

The management here is great! Michaela has made the move in process so easy for me! She is very responsive to emails, and always welcoming to questions to walk us first apartment renters through the process! My pup loves the opportunity to walk through the woods right outside our door! The apartments are spacious, nice and cozy! So glad I chose here to move into.
